We bought a pooja mandir from this guy last month. When we went to select the design, he was friendly and mentioned that he will be able to pack the mandiram in 3 packages of which one will be of 29 KGs and the other 2 will be 18 kgs and 15 kgs. We decided to take the item and thought that we will be pay extra baggage cost for the overweight package. He never mentioned anything about the items being oversized. He started talking about the packages being overweight after we paid and were ready to pick up the item. And started suggesting us that we should get this shipped rather than taking it with us on the airplane. He knew that our plan was to bring the item along with us and did not have any intentions of getting the item shipped. He charged us for international shipping and all the packing they did was bubble wrap and a foam wrap the items. We ended up paying oversized baggage charges for all the 4 packages and ended up with broken Mandiram and pooja peeta which I am not sure, how to repair. I called him after reaching the US and asked him how we can repair the broken things, and sent him pictures. He did not even acknowledge. This guy knows how to cheat and do business. Buyers beware….go to other places where they can give you right information before you commit so that you can take the right decisions. If this guy would have told me that I cannot take the Mandiram I choose, on the flight with me, my whole mandiram buying experience would have been completely different today.
