Citifinancial Consumer Finance India Ltd. — Request for Issue of NOC for Cancellation of Hypothecation Two Wheeler Loan

Sir/Madam,

I hereby submit that a two-wheeler loan was availed in the name of C. Rajendra Prasad, residing at Prasadam, Maruthadi P.O., Kollam, for purchase of a Bajaj Platina motorcycle bearing Registration No. KL-02-AA-7275, through Sarathy Bajaj Dealer, Kollam, during August 2008.

All the EMI instalments under the above loan were paid in full without any default, and the loan liability has been completely cleared. However, since your company has discontinued/shut down its business operations in Kerala, I am unable to obtain the No Objection Certificate (NOC) required for cancellation of hypothecation in the Registration Certificate.

At present, the NOC from the financier is mandatory for effecting ownership transfer of the vehicle at the Regional Transport Office. Due to the non-availability of the NOC, the ownership transfer process is being delayed.

I therefore kindly request you to verify your records and issue the Loan Closure Certificate and NOC for Hypothecation Cancellation at the earliest.
