I am writing to file a formal complaint against Akash darshan Co-operative society regarding their persistent failure to repair and maintain the society building, despite multiple complaints and requests made by the residents. I believe that their negligence and inaction pose a serious threat to the safety and well-being of the residents. I am a resident of Akash darshan Co-operative society, residing at flat number 101. The society building, located at Plot No. D49, sector 4 airoli, is in a state of disrepair, and necessary maintenance tasks have been consistently neglected by the housing society management. Despite numerous complaints made by various residents, the society has failed to take any significant steps towards addressing the issue. I have personally lodged number of complaints on WhatsApp society group with the housing society, with the first complaint being registered on 2021. The subsequent complaints were submitted on22.2.22 and 5.7.23, respectively. However, the housing society has not undertaken any concrete action to rectify the situation, and the state of the building continues to deteriorate. The neglect and non-compliance of the housing society management with regard to the repairs are in violation of various consumer rights and responsibilities. The lack of necessary repairs has resulted in numerous inconveniences and potential hazards for the residents. Some of the consequences we have experienced include: In light of the aforementioned circumstances, I kindly request the consumer court to intervene and address this matter appropriately. I seek the following remedies: Direct the housing society to promptly initiate and complete all required repairs and maintenance tasks in the society building within a reasonable timeframe. Compensate the residents for any financial losses or damages incurred due to the housing society's negligence. Ensure the housing society complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and obligations concerning the maintenance and upkeep of the society building. I have utmost faith in the consumer court's commitment to safeguarding consumer rights and ensuring fair resolutions.
