Clear Trip — Non refund of dues on cancellation of hotel booking. | |||||
Hi Please note that I had made a reservation for 24th Oct 2015, in Hotel Saraswati at Mount Abu through the clear trip online portal ( Clear Trip ID [protected]). Since I had the confirmed voucher from clear trip so I reached Mount Abu with my family in the morning hours. However, the same morning I was informed that the booking was cancelled and that I will be either getting the full refund or else Cleartrip would be making an alternate arrangement for my stay in Mount Abu. After calling up the customer care several times, I was told at 4 o' clock in the afternoon that an alternate arrangment was made in Hotel Udaigargh. But when I went for check in, I found out that it was a below standard property with an inappropriate location and hence not suitable for my family stay. Hence I again called up the customer care and requested them to cancel my earlier hotel booking and give me the refund. The customer care executive told me that he would be canceling the booking and process the refund but for that I need to hold on with the call so that he would do the needful. I hold onto the call for more than 15 mins but the concern person didn't reverted back. I called up customer care several timed after this but no one helped me with the refund. Hence I hereby request you through Email to cancel the bookings and help me with the refund. It was a very harassing experience with cleartrip but I hope that the refund process would be hassle free.
