Cleartrip — changing the dates for an existing ticket

I wanted to change the dates for my return ticket from delhi to hyd on 19th oct to a future date and to my surprise, i have been told that the total ticket amount will be forfeited to make this change along with the cost of new ticket on new dates. This means i will pay 13k for the same ticket which i bought in 7k just for change of dates. How ridiculous is that?

Clear trip mentions minimal amendment charges for changes and this is how they actually do but charging the entire ticket amount. This is not acceptable.

They should remove the amendment faq from clear trip website as they are misguiding the passengers.
