Cleartrip — Extreme delay in issuing of flight tickets

Hi, 1. On 25th July 2015, I booked my international flight tickets from Johannesburg via Abu Dhabi to Bangalore (Cleartrip ID "[protected]" PNR "HEAEHY") for two passengers and another ticket from Bangalore to Bhubaneswar (Cleartrip ID "[protected]" PNR "M3R7HY" ) for 2 passengers 2. I get the below e-mail from Etihad Airways on 7th Oct 2015 (Wednesday) where basically the entire itinerary is messed up and of no use to me as I have catch another flight after reaching Bangalore 3. Hence, I got in touch with Cleartrip.com call center with my grievance to which I was suggested to wait for 1 day so that they can let me know which alternate flight tickets is feasible 4. On 8th Oct 2015 (Thursday), I do get a call from Cleartrip stating that there is an alternate ticket option for Johannesburg to Bangalore via Abu Dhabi, however it is for 20th Nov 2015 and NOT 19th Nov 2015; and this flight would reach Bangalore on 21st Nov at around 8:35 hrs IST. However, this international flight ticket would take around 5-7 days to process and I was assured that Cleartrip.com would definitely take care of the tickets. To this, I was forced to shift my domestic flight from 20th Nov to 21st Nov 2015 and I had to pay an extra sum of around Rs. 13, 500 for the same and I did get my Bangalore to Bhubaneswar ticket. 5. On 15th Oct 2015 (Thursday), when I still didn't get my tickets I called up Cleartrip.com call center again and I was told it will take an additional 3-4 days 6. On 20th Oct 2015 (Monday), I raised support case # 13855225 and as per Cleartrip.com rules, they should have got back to me within 24 hrs. However no luck again ! ! 7. I got in touch with Cleartrip.com again on 21st Oct 2015 and I was again told that the tickets will be release on 26th Oct 2015 (Monday) as there were holidays, etc, however that didn't happen :( 6. Today, it's been 3 weeks since I reported the anomaly in the flight itinerary and I still don't have any tickets for Johannesburg to Bangalore via Abu Dhabi flight. Having said so, this is causing me a great deal of ordeal/hassle and going by the criticality of the flight and still not having proper tickets has caused great deal of frustration and consumed my time. After much hassles, I received the tickets. What startled me the most is that the Airways in question didn't promptly send across the revised itinerary after the change was done. Also, Cleartrip's interaction with the Airlines was an altogether cumbersome process. Such communication between Cleartrip and the airlines needs to improve to minimize Customer Ordeal. I will still recommend Cleartrip to my friends because of the awesome and responsive website and the competitive pricing. However, such issues come as a blot and minimizes customer confidence. Kindly come up with stronger internal processes.
