My trip was planned from kolkata to bangalore on 6th by … And Return on the 9th This booking was made on the internet and the additional payments as demanded made for services like non vegetarian meal and special seats. We had selected 1f on the way out and 12a on the return flight. The transaction was shown as completed and charges deducted from my account. I received an e-mail showing my ticket details as well as the seat numbers and the meals booked. I was very happy with the prompt email and passed details onto my friend so that he could book similarly nearby seats. Today on arrival at the airport i found that a web check in had been done for me on an entirely different seat number without any information to me. The newly assigned seats were 26b on the way out and 16a on the way back. I had a long chat with the lady at the counter and managed to get 26a changed to 14 f. But still not a premium seat as i had paid for. On enquiring, i was told by the indigo airport staff ms. Priyanka that the cleartrip company had not paid for the seat in the first place and had only paid for the meal. My question is how could they have done this and yet assigned me a paid seat (For which they charged me) as seen on the e mail. There is an error either by cleartrip or indigo. Both are reputed companies and such a glaring documented anomaly is not explicable. I would request an explanation and correction Was this information helpful? | |||
