[Resolved]  Cleartrip — Misrepresentation, Misinformation given, harassment of me, my family and my friend�s family, time

I made 2 bookings with Clear Trip, the first one was for Dalhousie & the second one for Mcleodganj, the Trip Ids are given below. Trip ID: [protected] This was first booking for 2 rooms for 2 nights for Adults and 3 Children in Dalhousie for 24th May & 25th May’14. I received the confirmation voucher (Copy Attached) that my booking is confirmed with Hotel Shangrila however a few days later I received a call stating that the rooms are all booked in that hotel so we are moving to Hotel Jaspreet. It was 2 days before my travel so I had no other option but to unwillingly agree, they sent me a confirmation Voucher (Copy Attached) for Hotel Jaspreet. I drove on my own to Dalhousie from Ghaziabad along with one of my friend and his family. It took me 12 hrs time to reach Hotel Jaspreet and by that point of time everybody was so tired that they just wanted to lie down somewhere. When I reached Hotel Jaspreet I was told by the incharge (Madan Sharma) that there was no booking under my name. Me and my family were surprised that how can that be possible and showed him the Voucher to which he said you need to speak to clear trip as we do not have your booking. I even spoke to the owner (Nitin) who was in Ludhiana however even he offered no assistance. I even asked them of Gagandeep’s number (Marketting Manager with Clear Trip) as they were speaking to him however they didn’t and were very rude in their behaviour. I called up Clear trip and spoke to 4 people & everybody said the same thing that your booking is confirmed with Hotel Jaspreet, I even made them speak to the Hotel Staff & when they didn’t had any solution either they left me on hold or disconnected the call. I even spoke to a supervisor (Rakesh Rana) who promised to call me in half an hour however didn’t. I stood there for 5 hrs with 3 kids of less than 5 years, my friend was questioning me of what was happening. Whenever you call up clear trip the IVR says that all the calls are recorded for Training and Quality Purposes, so you can ask of all the call recordings for the calls which I made. After no solution I started searching for another accommodation, as it was a weekend and holiday season most of the hotels in Dalhousie were full, after a lot of searching I found an accommodation Hotel Monga (Bill Attached for confirmation) which was way out of my Budget but had no other option. Trip ID [protected] Similar thing happened to my second booking in Mcleodganj with Hotel Sahiwa, one day before my travel to Mcleaodganj I called up Clear Trip just to confirm that everything is fine with my second booking, I spoke to Suraiya and she said that the booking is confirmed, I was not convinced because of my experience in Dalhousie an asked her if she can arrange a call from the Hotel to which she said she will conference my call, she did that and made me speak to the Hotel Staff member (Kalfang), she also confirmed that it is there. While it as going on my wife received a call from Clear trip (Riyang Rajan) and he said the Hotel doesn’t have rooms available, I spoke to him and said I have Suraiya on the other line and she has confirmed of the booking and she has also made me speak to the Hotel Staff, Riyang said ok than its fine however I said please check and let me know. He called back after half an hour and confirmed that the booking is there. Next day when I reached Mcleodganj and approached the Hotel, to my surprise the hotel staff said that there is no booking under my name. I was very upset but couldn’t do anything so called up Clear trip and they again said that your booking is confirmed, when I told him that the staff is saying it otherwise he said he will call me back. I insisted on speaking to a supervisor or Manager however he declined to do that. I did not receive a call as usual but got the number for Gagandeep (Marketing Manager- Clear Trip) from the hotel staff. I called him and told him of what has happened, he again had no answer but he said he arrange accommodation in a different property. He gave me multiple options and whichever option he gave we would go to that Hotel and the hotel would say that there are no rooms available. After looking at 3 options we were finally given accommodation in an alternate property after spending 3 hrs.
