I had book a flight with cleartrip through credit card, which due to some situation i had to cancel, and booked another. Flight which i cancelled was 48k and after reducing 15k towards gst, cancellation and convenience fees i got refund of 33k. I did not get the refund on my credit card, but i got on cleartrip wallet. I requested to credit my cleartrip balance to my bank account for which they said it's against their policy to refund wallet balance in any other method.
I also felt that my laptop has been technically compromised and my wallet balance is at stake as these days we keep our passwords saves at google websites. I told them to understand my exceptional situation and give me my wallet balance as bank refund. They just kept saying we are sorry, we ubderstand your problem but we cannot do anything.
I gave them different options
I told them to refund my wallet balance into my bank account. They denied that.
I told them i want to close my cleartrip account so will they settle my wallet balance to my bank account. They said no if i close the account, the balance will be taken by them, and they don't have policy to close the account.
I don't understand why they are not giving me my own money i had to literally call them 5 -6 times, talk for an hour and beg my own money but their company policy does not allow them to do anything.
There company policy allows them to take away wallet money of their customers but do ot allow them to clear wallet balance under exceptional situations.
