Trip id:[protected], a refund of return tickets which was canceled due to airline insolvency is not yet provided and there is no case id or ticket id provided by the customer care nor the ceo of the company has provided any resolution.
Please note that passengers were able to travel from mumbai to dubai on march 17, 2019 (Sunday). However, as your aware jet airways ltd grounded indian international airline based in mumbai, india on 17 april 2019 and suspended all flight operations. The family was supposed to travel back to mumbai on june 12, 2019, which was not possible because of the insolvency of airline which was booked. The customer had to rebook the flights for his family.
Customer has contacted clear trip customer service team and the response provided by them was too vague and not acceptable. Moreover, it is now oct 2019 which is more than 5 months to get his refund back to him. It is also noticed that customer care has not logged any complaint and not provided any case id or ticket id even after requesting for more than 8 times.
Further to my investigation on insolvency details via jet airways website (https://www.jetairways.com/insolvencyproceedings/), it is clearly mentioned that we need to contact the following:
Scenario 1: tickets booked through a travel agent or online travel aggregator (E. G. Make my trip, yatra.com, etc.)
Response: you are requested to claim your refund from your travel agent or travel aggregator as applicable.
List_of_creditor_v3_dated_sept 6_2019: document of 709 page, which does not include any of the passenger's details from trip id:[protected]
On oct 11, 2019, 6:21 pm (10 days ago), we had written to the ceo for resolution and to date, we never heard back from the company. Instead, the customer had to call the company multiple times and no resolution was provided. I am requesting you to please try to help the customer for their return money to be compensated/refunded (Dubai to mumbai) as the trip was never taken due to the airline's issue.
