Cleartrip — vancouver to chennai - trip id[protected]

It’s been since may i’m following up with them on my ticket which is been cancelled by cathy pacific (Trip id:[protected] vancouver to chennai). I booked through clear trip, once cathy pacific cancelled the ticket (Due to covid) they should automatically initiate the cancellation (Or) try for rebooking.

However, it has been almost 3+months since i am waiting, i did not get resolution at all. They call me and transfer to other dept. And the call gets disconnected. They do not have any call center to communicate also, i need to drop an email. For each email, i need to wait for 72 hrs to get response.

My rs.96000 is blocked and now they say that they do not know whether i will get the refund of return (Cancelled) journey, as cathy pacific is not disclosing the cancellation amount. How will i cancel my ticket without knowing how much refund i will get? Its cleartrip duty to get the refund for me as it is been cancelled by airlines. I paid to cleartrip not to cathy pacific. They give me lame reasons that airlines is not allowing – they should ensure to have a sync with airlines and resolve this problem rather than give reasons to customers.

Secondly, they have issued the open ticket to me so that i shall use the same ticket for my future journey. However, i still see that there are no schedules for any future dates by cathy pacific, what is the use of giving the open ticket without any scheduled dates? I will not be able to stay in the canada for more days for me to use the open ticket. They may tell me to go out any time as i am allowed to stay only for 6 months.

Additionally, as airlines has cancelled the ticket, its cleartrip duty to get me the full refund (Or) arrange for a new flight without any additional cost.

I am not getting any proper response for past 3+ month from cleartrip and they are holding my huge sum of money since then. I need your help to get this resolved and provide me a money back.

ClearTrip told to initiate the cancellation. There are no future itenarires avaibale to india by the airlines, hence i initiated the cancellation for refund. Airlines cancelled the ticket of their own.
