I (Mithun s Mohan) wish to recount my unfortunate experience with Club Resorto, which has led to significant distress and financial loss for both myself and my wife. It all began with an unexpected phone call from a person named Shelly Mehra (Mob: [protected]), who claimed that I had won a gift voucher and movie tickets due to my recent vehicle purchase. This call initiated a chain of events that ultimately resulted in a deeply unsettling encounter.
Excited about the prospect of receiving these gifts, my wife and I visited the TAJ GATEWAY HOTEL CALICUT at PT Usha road, Vellayil, Kozhikode, Kerala 673032, as instructed. Upon arrival, we were asked to fill out a form detailing our recent vehicle purchase, which initially seemed like a standard procedure for a promotional offer. However, our optimism quickly turned to dismay when we were aggressively pitched a travel package by their sales manager, Mr. Naveen Rajput (Mob: [protected]), which required a substantial financial commitment.
Despite expressing our initial reluctance and requesting time to consider the offer, the sales team persisted in pressuring us to make an immediate decision. They claimed the offer was exclusively available to us and would expire if not accepted on the spot. Initially offered a package priced at ₹1, 90, 000, we declined, only to be presented with another option. Feeling overwhelmed and misled, we reluctantly agreed to purchase an Asian travel package for ₹75, 000.After hastily completing paperwork and receiving assurances of accessing Club Resorto's services via an app, we left the hotel with high hopes. However, our attempts to redeem the promised movie tickets and access our membership details were met with complete silence. Calls and messages to their provided contacts went unanswered, leaving us increasingly anxious as we realized we might have fallen victim to a scam.Upon researching online, we discovered numerous reports detailing similar fraudulent activities associated with Club Resorto. Distressed and feeling cheated, we promptly contacted the company to cancel our membership and demand a refund within the stipulated 10-day period. Despite our efforts, responses from their Relationship Manager, Firdous ([protected]), were evasive, citing reasons why a refund could not be processed and suggesting we continue with the package.On the next day, in the afternoon, the salesman, Naveen, and members of the club resorto started calling me from different numbers. I informed them that I wanted to cancel. They told me to mail them immediately, and while I was sending the cancellation request, they replied with welcome messages. I informed them that I didn't need these welcome messages. They explained that it was the company's procedure to follow with several emails for the cancellation, and even though I didn't have time to read them, they still demanded a reply saying "I received the mail" so they could start the cancellation and refund process on the same day or by Monday.
On Monday[protected], I called the salesman to cancel and get a refund, but he falsely claimed that he could refund it that day. The same day, the club resorto asked me for the reason for the cancellation. According to their policy, customers can cancel the package without providing any explanation. However, the company denied this and suggested that to continue with the travel package, which I, as a customer, did not require and felt was not safe to do so. When I asked for the free movie tickets that they had offered, the salesman informed me that the slots for the week were already filled, but if I continued with the package, I could avail of them now. This further reinforced my belief that their service was poor, and they only cared about money and not customer satisfaction. The club resorto does not value any customer, so I advise others not to fall for their false promises. Their business revolves around exploring cities, conducting meetings in big hotels, and finding people who can afford their offers, which they collect data for from car dealers, etc. Beware of such frauds and do not entertain calls or claims about such offers. Numerous victims have been trapped by their false claims.
Frustrated by the delays and excuses, we filed a formal complaint with the national cyber crime authorities. This entire experience has been profoundly distressing for us, both personally and financially. We placed our trust in Club Resorto based on false promises and deceptive tactics, only to find ourselves exploited and financially compromised.In conclusion, I am compelled to share my story as a cautionary tale to warn others about the risks associated with such promotional schemes. I urge everyone to exercise utmost caution when approached with offers that seem too good to be true. It is crucial to thoroughly research and verify the legitimacy of such offers before making any financial commitments.

I have also seen some articles that seem to falsely promote their company, like the ones on Deccan chronicle, The hindu, Tribune India, etc. I plan to raise a complaint about these misleading articles, will push to have them removed and also will raise a complaint of Club Resorto with the help of them as well.

By sharing my experience, I hope to prevent others from falling prey to similar deceptive practices and protect them from enduring the same financial hardships we have faced.
I have already filed a case in the consumer court for misrepresentation, misleading claims, and mental stress and trauma, along with other members. However, I am willing to cancel my complaint if they issue the refund promptly.
In light of the above, I demand the following actions be taken immediately:
Initiate a full refund of ₹75, 000 to my account without further delay.
Provide written confirmation of the refund initiation and cancellation of our membership
