I used the food card from cts (Asv) location and the amount of inr 30 was deducted twice but the bill was not generated on (6/9/16), i was requested to drop a mail in order to get the refund. Kindly do the needful.

Still today i was deducted of amount inr 55 but the bill was not generated in the machine and have to pay the bill separately. Please help.

This is Regarding offer letter issused by cognizant. I have attended an interview in cognizant before
few days back and completed all my rounds.I received an offer from Talent Acquisition Group HR Team Congnizant and the
mail is [protected]@cognizant.com.But I have a small doubt the Mail is from Eternal Domain i.e; Via orbit.eternalimpact.info
and I have no any Reference number with me.Just I wanted to check with u wheather its genuine or not.i got a mail kavita.[protected]@cognizant.com.

Cognizant has ruined my career. I got an offer letter last year, and signed in to its external portal. They told they will send me my date of joining. It has been more than a year now, they haven't sent me anything. They are not replying to my emails. I have been waiting for the date of joining for over a year, i even filled up pf declaration forms. This is not how companies should treat freshers. I hope indian govt takes action against cognizant for ruining the career a youth.

This mail is to share my bad experiences with the interview process happening in Chennai Cognizant office.

Myself had a two bad experiences with interview in Cognizant (CTS) Chennai. Please spare sometime to read the below, which of the CTS approach with interview made us highly frustrated.

My first experience was before some 7 months. I had received a call from well known Consultancy stating that, there is a interview going to happen with CTS on one fine Saturday at Varalakshmi techpark premises OMR chennai. I clearly mentioned my about my profile and expained what kind of job I'm looking for. The concultancy person, didn't even listened and they said CTS is hiring huge number of candidates and your profile perfectly suits for the role what they are looking for... Couple of days later HR person from CTS itself called me and verified about the same. Again, I have asked everything and she also said the same to me. I have confirmed whether it is a walkin or a Scheduled interview. Both mentioned that it as a scheduled interview.

I reached the venue by 10 AM on that day. It was shocking, I saw a huge crowd of more than 2000 candidates waiting for the interview process to happen. The HR people from CTS not even sure what they are doing and just was carrying some papers and roaming here and there. After long time, waiting in the parking lot, They called people in bunches and asked wait inside the ODC's.

Then it was around 4 PM at the evening, no one directed us to whom the resume should be provided and what is the proces at all. I voluntarlily went to a person and asked for the same. He re-directed me to some other person and he re-directed me again to another person. Then, finally they put me to interview panel who was expecting a candidate with 3 to 4 years of experience in Active Directory profile. I had 8+ years of experience and my skill set is ITIL Process. He said, CTS is currently not looking out for such profile and asked me to leave. Look, how pathetic the interview process was...

My second bad experience was during last week (21st May 2016), interview happened in Navalur chennai. This time, I have received e-mails and calls directly from CTS HR, about the interview and job profile they are looking for. Thank god, atleast this time, they have reached me with the proper JD, which actually suits me.

Again, I have checked whether it is a scheduled interview or Walk-in kind of interview. She said it as a scheduled interview. Look at the mail subject line.

I have completed my night shift on friday 20th May and reached Navalur which was around 30+ kms far away from my home in this chennai summer. I was shocked once again, I reached the venue because there was around 1000 people waiting for the interview process to happen. One good thing, was they have collected the resume at the first and made us to wait in the lobby, this time rather making us to wait in the parking lot.

I could see that, the HR person were calling all the job profiles for first level interview, except ITIL SO role candidates who were all waiting since morning 10 AM. Finally after lunch, around by 3.00 PM they have started calling ITIL candidates for first round of interview. For me the first round got completed by 3:45 PM and he asked me wait so that he can put me to the next level of interview.

There were several candidates waiting for the second round interview and HR discussions, for very long time and that wasn't happened at all. The most worrying and pathetic part of the interview, was only one person was interviewing all the ITIL SO / Incident Management candidates from the beginning. That's why it took so long. I had a question raised in my mind, being a such big company CTS shouldn't plan properly and have sufficient number of interview panels to cover the candidates?????

The time was around 5.30 PM and the one and only person who was interviewing was in a hurry to leave for the day, since he had some personal committments. These HR persons, were started bugging the interviewer to interview few more candidates and he finally accepted to do so...

Then the time was around 7:00 and the interviewer was totally out of patience and started to leave for the day without interviewing us (Myself and there were around 20+ candidates who were waiting from morning). Finally, these bacha HR's were not sure what to do and what reason they suppose to provide us. Then they finally discussed on how to manage the situation and came up with pre-hire form to pacify everyone o[censored]s and asked to fill the same. There was a promise from HR stating that everyone will receive a call on Monday (that is on 23rd May) to have further discussions over phone. It is already week over and I could see none of the candidates who filled the form have received any such calls from the HR persons.

Just wanted to be more clear, If CTS is planning for interview sessions just for eye-wash or for time pass during saturday's then we are not the right candidates to do so...

I'm sure, I will not receive any call further regarding the second round or for the HR discussions anymore as a follow-up for the interview happened in 21st May. That is the reason I'm spending time to draft this e-mail to make you guys know how bad we are treated and how pathetic the interview sessions with CTS are happening in Chennai.

Would like to say one last thing, we as IT employees only get weekends to spend time with our family and kids, don't plan for timepass interviews and fake interview panels during saturday and make us to wait from morning to evening and waste our time. Which is not at all ethical and really creates such a bad impression on the entire company profile.

I have really experienced bad saturday on 21st May, since I have done my night shift work previous day and didn't even slept properly. You bloody guys made me to wait in the lobby for entire day, without even conducting the second round interview, with the burning eyes...

I'm damn sure, I'm not going to get any call further regarding the next round interview. I'm least bothered about the same. But wanted to highlight the concerns regarding interviews happening with Cognizant (CTS) company in chennai. I would definitely share my experiences with my surroundings and friends, and insist them to not apply for any role in CTS and do not co-operate if they receive any call from CTS HR saying there is a bloody, (scheduled) interview is going to happen on Saturdays...

So atleast you people will plan for good interview experiences in future for the candidates who reaches CTS for job...

I'm highly frsutrated, and I was thinking about to use unethical words... but to be as a professional, I don't want to do so. I expect CTS is a professional company and will not follow the same in future.

This is regarding a person who is issuing fake offer letters on the name of Kavita Kumari. His name is V N Shankar. He calls people stating that there will be 2 rounds of interview. Technical interview will be taken care by their people and Hr discussion should be faced by the candidate on phone. Once the resume is send to him, he will call u after 1 week that the technical interview is cleared and get ready for the hr round. Then the candidate will get a call from +91 [protected] stating that he is an HR form cognizant will discuss about the salary. After couple of days, the candidate will receive the fake offer sent to him by kavita.[protected]@cognizant.com. This is happned with my friend and they are asked him to pay 1.8 Lakhs. I said to my friend thats a fake offer & dont send any money. Please take action against these people and put them in Jail. They are cheating the innocent people for money. They should be punished severly.

I interviewed at cognizant okkiyam, thoraipakkam chennai on 7 may 2016 and cleared all the round. Hr told me u will get offer letter by next week but did not get any confirmation mail and formal offer letter till now. I have even posted query in cognizant official website and mailed few talent acquisition hr's but still i haven't received any response so far. Please help me out in this regard.

Hi i have attended interview on april 2nd at dlf gachibowli the interview went well .HR congrulated me and said i want to work with you, i have recived greeting mail on 4th april and also asked to submit pan card as then i dont have the pan card i requested to provide time for submission, on 12 th april i recived a mail again to submit pan asap . I have submitted my pan on 16april as soon i recived . till now there is no formal communication from them can i expect offer letter??

This was very disappointing to go and attend the interview at CTS. I have 4 years of IT experience .The way we were treated and received response was so rude. There was neither place to sit nor water to drink. Eventhough it was clearly mentioned in call letter that entire interview process will take 2 hours, I was standing between crowd for 2 hours to let my turn come. In return after so long wait when I asked how long it gonna take more, then response was like, "i[censored] have patience wait else leave so many others standing too". This words from contact person - Manju.
I asked for my profile back and walked out.

I have been interviewed on feb 20 2016 and it is been informed that i will be joining on march 7 and instead of many emails to the hr there is no response and i havent received offer letter and while checking with other candidates it is been said that they too dint receive any letter and it is been told that there is no interview been taken on that day

I am working for cognizant technology solutions. My associate id is 458769. I have applied for hdfc food card before 30days. Still now i did not received the food card.

Why they named as Cognizant.. they could have named something else..
Heard lot about the brand and the impacts but here after reading all the comments by the employees of them is making some poor view..
What our central government is doing ..
Cant they respond for any of these complaints. Or cant they give a separate email Id for those who seek grievances..?

I'm a bit Surprised and worried of getting the below reply after continuous follow-ups and raising complaints in EPF Forum. Raising my concern in Forum means - "I decided to withdraw My PF Contribution along with interest".

Kindly consider this as my final Confirmation and Submit my PF Withdrawal Application along with Form15G to EPF.

Hi I am arun today I went interview (5.03.16) in cognizant at 9 clk I waiting for first round like he'll never faced this kind of problem in any MNC still now I dint atten first round itself now the time is 6.30pm from morning to evening this is unfair recruitment in CTS even the interview was scheduled they came 6.30pm said u can leave for the day den y conducting interview .. Cognizant Technology Solutions — PF Withdraw status since 8 months

I am Leela Madhavi Velamakanni, Ex-employee of Cognizant. I applied for withdrawal of my PF while leaving the organization. Till now I have not yet received my PF amount. Its more than 8 months now. I wrote repeated emails but no response for the same . In some of the email conversation I had, I was told that, there was a typo in my father name and so, was rejected by PF officials. After that, there was no response from HR, Cognizant Tech. Sol. (P) Ltd., Pune. Now, I have not yet received my PF amount. I don't see any results while checking my PF balance online. I didn't have any updates from your end too. My only concern is, did anybody withdrew my PF amount? Because I never faced these kind of issues with any of my earlier companies. And, its more than 8 months I left Cognizant. Can anybody please help me to get my money? Till now, I was thinking Cognizant is the only company professionally managed in comparison with other service companies in India. But, its seems completely
ridiculous.

My Ref Number 999310051508280047868 for PF transfer is showing status as 'Your request is In Transit between EPFO Out and In Office'.The status has been same Since Nov-2015 even after being approved.

Kindly let me know when the PF amount will get transferred to my account ?

also let me know if anything needs to be done from my end.

Hi,

I have lost my HDFC food plus card and i had even blocked it. When I raised request to reissue the lost card, there has been a notification that based on the date that i had raised the request, I will get my card on 12th of this month. But i did not get my card till now.

Please do the needfull as early as possible.

I interviewed at cognizant raheja mindspace on 23 Jan 2016 and cleared all the round. Hr told me u will get offer letter by next week but did not get any confirmation mail and formal offer letter till now.

I had given interview with cognizant in Bangalore. After clearing technical, managerial, client and HR round, I had been told that offer letter will be released in a week. But its been 3 weeks now they haven't released offer letter. I mailed the HR but no reply from them. When i called them they are saying business has said to keep the offer letter on hold and they will release the offer letter once business gives go ahead.


If there are no openings or if they wait for business go ahead after all the rounds, why they will conduct the interviews
