I need to bring this concern about women employees in Cognizant(UBS), Hyderabad and seek your suggestions. Some projects/accounts are ignoring the serious concerns of women associates and ladies are being forced to work in night shift or do the over time till mid night. Specially, OTC Margin Project is harassing the ladies employees even if they are having serious health issues or pregnancy. Ladies are simply forced to work in night shift or stretch till late night even if they finish their work on time. Celebrating only Woman’s Day and Mother’s Day is not enough if they do not take care of such concerns. Can you please advise me where to raise this issue? Thanks for your help!

I want to know where my pan card is delivered .
In the internet it showing that my pan card is dispatched on 24.02.09.
Though it dispatched, i not able to get the card.

Well done!!!

I appreciate about this information being provided. Now the real face of Cognizant has been exposed. Now the next thing that which you have to do is go to the public forum like twitter, facebook and others (register there in a name where you cannot be recognized) and the final thing is that call up the news reporting agencies like NDTV, TIMES NOW AND CNN IBN. Report them about this situation and tell them how you are being harassed and tortured.

The finality is go to the enforcement directorate and register a complaint with the Special CID department --CRIMES AGAINST WOMEN.

This has to put a full stop on these guys or else take them legally.

dear associate even u r like my sister even she facing the same problem with cts. manager harassing her and want to stretch for long hours even though she completed the given task with in the tat. now when she gave her resignation also they harassing her with their words. i dont know wht govt is doing why not taking any action against them. wht happend to women rights in MNC. now they threatening her they will spoil her complete career.

    Respected Sir/mam,
    I will like to draw your kind attention to this immense sad event of my life. Before giving entire details of the experience that i have gone through i will like to mention my background in brief. Myself Saptarshi nandi , a resident of Kestopur kolkata, age 23 yrs ( D.O.B.[protected] is currently pursuing M.B.A. from Heritage Institute Of Technology - Kolkata. Prior to that i have completed B.B.A. from the Heritage Academy.
    As the job market is very bad our conditions ovf placement is pathetic. Therefore i am looking for jobs through various job career portals. On 14th March, I received a mail from Naukri.com in my gmail account. The mail was of a walk in interview with Cognizant. It was mentioned that Cognizant technology solutions have openings for fresh graduates who have passed their graduation in[protected]. The timings of walk in interview was from 9:30-12:30.The salary, designation of the job was not mentioned. It was also mentioned that candidates must have excellent typing skills and should be willing to work in night shifts. And there was an additional note mentioning that candidates with B.E./ B.Tech/ M.C.A. are not eligible.

    On 16th March i went for the walk0in with C.T.S., the venue was Unitech Building, Rajarhat, Newtown, Kolkata. On reaching there , i found to my surprise that there were more than 100 candidates who have applied for the job.There were 3 rounds. 1st round- English and Reasoning Ability, 2nd Round - Online Test to check my typing speed. 3rd round- H.R. Round.

    I have successfully cleared all the 3 rounds. In the H.R. round, I was asked how can i manage my studies along with the job schedule. I clearly mentioned to the interviewer that our college wants to get rid of students as they are willing to provide placements. So if the students on their own effort can manage a job from outside sources they do not have any hesitation. Our classes are going to get over by the end of March and our finalm semester will be from the mid week of May. On 18th March the H.r. of Kolkata, Ms. Powlumi Mukherjee gave a phone call and she gave me the news of my success in the H.R. round . She asked me to come down to The Technopolis Building on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. with all my documents and portfolios. I went to the venue as mentioned as mentioned by her and handed all my documents to her . Even on that day i clearly mentioned that my P.G. course is not over yet as i am only left with 1 semester and there will be no conflict between my job schedule and my studies. On that day she rejected on of the selected candidate as he was having his education through distance learning. She said that Cognizant is very particular about documents as they only entertain full time courses.

    My joining date was on 1st april, 2013, Prior to that, i received my appointment letter,welcome mailer of my employer on friday through mail. i had to go through all the pre joining activities. My id was 46032893. I had send all my scanned documents ito mail ids furnished by them.1.[protected]@cognizant.com and 2.[protected]@cognizant.com. for background verification. They even asked for P.G. Final year marksheet but i have been mentioning to them that i am still pursuing my M.B.A. course. On 27th March,received a call from Ms Powlumi Muukherjee telling me that she cannot hire me on board as i have not completed my P.G. course. I asked her if she could manage in anyway but she replied that that she cannot do anything. She said to me that higher authority told her that they cannot entertain any student who is still pursuing P.G. course.

    On receiving the news i was shocked and i was completely astonished. In wondered how can such a MNC which is considered to be the 3rd most admired I.T. company can commit such a mistake, and how can the H.R. be so callous and careless in her work approach. I asked her to send me written justification via mail and how can even after offering me the appointment letter they are rejecting my appointment. But there was no suh response from her . Thus i am bound to take a legal action and i am lodging a complain against Cognizant Technology solutions.

      EPF Claim under process for long time

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      My PF account number is TN/MAS/31309/129541. A claim request was filed on 23/12/2011. I have not received total claim till now from the EPF.
      Also, claim status website always shows the same information ("under process") every time.
      Is there any way I can get the remaining claim amout faster?

        Food plus card

        I have lost my Food plus card and i had even blocked it . now i am requesting for the new food plus card but there is no proper response from the bank dealers.

        The other thing is that if i call for HDFC care center they not not even aware of food plus card if i ask about it they are saying about the HDFC credit card.

        My RS:- 2000 is been blocked in that lost HDFC Card can you provide the solution for this...

        PF withdrawal

        It has been a 5 months now since I submitted PF withdrawal document to Cognizant Chennai office. They have not even submitted those docs to PF Chennai office. I do not know where to complaint about this ***** HR to get the issue resolved.

        I got selected in apptitude round in cts offcampus drive2011 . Also i got selected in technical after that my doc verification and finally HR round. i did very well. I had more hope.But i got mail that "u ll not cleared Tech/Hr round" .Am feeling for that very much . I did well . But???? No words to explain my feelings.I have enough knowledge to work with cts.but????Anyone can help me?. I dnt know that "god is there or not?"

          and hrteam was told me that ur joining is too late

            I am M.P.Fathima Farzaana,currently pursuing final year B.E.(Computer Science) at B.S.A.Crescent Engineering College(Affiliated to Anna University).I have undergone the Cognizant Campus Recruitment Process on Sept 8th 2011 at our college campus but was rejected.I am desperate to know the reasons for my rejection inspite of performing well in the interview.
            My aggregate is 8.60(Department Second).I have no history of arrears and standing arrears.I was one among the six nominees shortlisted for the post of brand ambassador(Xperience Cognizant) from our college.
            Since the result was negative,i sat for the selection process of another company.I reached the final HR round there.I was thrown up a question on why CTS rejected such a well-qualified candidate.I too was wondering because candidates with standing arrears and those who didnt perform that well were selected by Cognizant.

            Don worry, there is a big company waiting for you to work with..

            What do you think you can do with CTS, TCS or Infy
            After all you will be a software engineer which is achieved by 1000's of diplomas and arts graduate.

            I would say you to study further, do your masters by research become unique.

            Working in CTS for 5 years you may get a maximum of 50-60k/month which is nothing after 5 years.
            Every big people start their success with a failure

              Sir I have finished my technical And HR round also on 14.02.2015.HR said will contact one or two week. But still they not contact me ...I have sent mail to HR but did not get any reply.

                  Hi, I was employed in Cognizant Technology Solutions from May 3rd 2010 to Feb 25th 2011. My offer letter has an incentive component and company policy states that employee on the rolls on 31st December 2010 will be eligible for incentive.
                  My appraiser did not submit my rating till my LWD and i came to know today that he had given me an under par rating due to which i did not get my incentive. It is not fair and I also did not get a chance to view his appraisal. I havent received any response from him as yet. I want to file a complaint. PLease advice.

                      Hello,

                      The MarketRx administration has started to sell packaged food items such as Chips, Biscuits etc to its employee from around January onwards. The prices they have kept are 2 - 3/- higher than MRP. For eg. Lays potato chips are being sold at 22/- instead of MRP 20/-. They never track any record for the transaction.

                      At times Employees have raised this issue infront of various audience but administration is not looking into the issue. Since, such products are not readily available in the viscinity of Campus therefore Employees are forced to buy them from here only. Please let me know if there is any law against this kind of monopoly.

                        Hi,

                        Below is the mail trail when I tried to follow up with Cognizant Bangalore on my long pending PF transfer.

                        The irony is rather than providing the status, HRSS team at Cognizant has blocked me and are not receiving my e-mails forget abt updating me the PF status. This is ridiculous!!!

                        We would like to bring it your notice that,the customer ledger of the CAN no showing arrears of Rs.80580/-,where as the water bills are paying regularly without any dues as on date.We submitted the xerox copies set payment mode details for referencing at HMWS &SB operation and maintenace Div.No.XV at Chanda Nagar on 03.01.11,but the next bill the same arrears received including bill.

                              I have applied for PF transfer from TCS organization to Cognizant Technology Solutions. TCS has transferred PF amount in the Month of April 2010 to Cognizant and Cognizant had transferred amount to PF Office chennai. So, I asked Cognizant, they said, they have not still got updates from PF OFFICE (EPFO, RO, Chennai). I want know the status of PF transfer (Status) so that I can ask my Organization for the same.

                                I have sent a below detailed complaint to Spicejet. but no reply. please read through this before booking Spicejet

                                Complaint:

                                This is regarding the cancellation of the ticket, PNR# Q4LJBE.

                                By mistake I have booked a ticket for October 5th, actually it was indented for October 15th. I agree that it was a mistake from my end. BUT I haven’t got any intimations (calls or SMS) at least an 30 minutes before the flight departure. I feel like both parties (me and Spice jet) has to bear the responsibility.

                                So when contacted to the spice jet customer care on 10/07/2010, they are telling it is not possible to reimburse more than INR 2000 (ticket cost INR 7350).

                                I am really sorry that I cannot accept this deal. I would request you to reimburse at least 80% of the ticket cost.

                                To bringing you in notice. I am a frequent traveler in Spice jet ( you could check with my Phone number/name, [protected], Name- Babu Rajanish).

                                After this incident I may rethink my future travel options with Spice jet. Kindly reimburse 80% of the ticket fare. Looking ahead for a positive response from your end.

                                Spicejet the worst customer care ever i have seen.

                                3rd class service for travellers. Hats offfffffff to Spicejet...


                                I, myself Minish Patel had passed thru a very bad experience with Cleartrip Customer Executive.

                                I had booked 2 return tickets of Spicejet Ahd-Delhi for trip date[protected] through website. After few days i wanted to re-schedule my trip date to[protected], so i process required steps through Cleartrip.com but by the time your server was down, so i called to customer care & concern person on phone over there replied me very positively n said your verification n all necessary details has been taken n re-schedule request has been processed n now we are tranferring your line to our other department just to make additional difference payment, but somehow at that time Phone-line transfer was not possible at your end, so your employee told me to wait for next 1 hour n we will call you back on your registered cell just for payment, rest process has been done. So i waited for a phone call from your side for the rest of d day, n after a long waiting next day when i called to customer care i came to know that by the time flight rate has been hiked by 2800/-. n i have to pay today's rate, while i was been confirmed on fon previous day about ticket rates.

                                Now you just clarify me, if at that time on fon if i had booked my tickets, then this will not happen... bcoz of your server error n executive's fon line transfer problem i have had to bear atleast 2800 x 4 = 11200 addition loss.

                                Next time its confirm i will never prefer to go with cleartrip. you can check my login's past records also.
