Dear Indian Consumer Complaint Forum
This is with reference to marketing call by an executive of Great India Travels.
The scheme is administered by another group company "One Touch Solutions India Pvt. Ltd". and the payments accepted by another group company "Afordable Sale Promotions". Thus there is cartel of 3 companies who have done a fraud.
The tall, misleading and luring claims made by company representative made me execute series of 3 transactions on 26th July-2012, which now I feel I should not have done in view of incomplete information shared with me I and feel cheated & dissatisfied.

The whole episode goes as under :
The executive, Mr. Rohit Sharma, told me about the holiday package offer and told that this is a promotional offer which is only for the select phone number and if I do not book the same immediately I may not be lucky enough to grab the same. Going by his words & luring claimes I made a payment of Rs. 5499/- and booked one package of 4 nights and 5 day.
After completion of first transaction he, made me make another transaction by telling me that if I do it I will become member and then, would also be eligible for Gift like I ball touch screen mobile or Blackberry curve or a Laptop.
So I made another transaction of Rs. 6999/- for 7 nights/8 days. Afterwords, when when I asked him about gift he told me that which gift I would like to select out of three. When I told him about difference he told me that I need to give him 2 references for I ball touch screen mobile or 5 references for Backberry Curve and 15 reference for Laptop.
I chose for Blackberry, then again he said that for Blackberry I need to make one more transaction. I was surprised as this was not told to me before. Then I said that I can not do third transaction. But, he tried to convince me that why should I loose the blackberry when I have already done two transactions and why should I leave just at the last moment and I can gift the package to friend, family etc. etc...
I was in two minds whether to go for it or not. Then I said I shall call back and also took his mobile number [protected] as the number from which he called would not be available for incoming calls.
Subsequently, I called him and then done 3rd transation for Rs. 5499/- for 4 nights/5 days.and kept 5 references ready.
After compeletion of transction he told me that I will get the email confirmation and also a verification call. When I asked him about my blackberry gift, to my surprise he said I will get it but, the references should get converted. He did not took the references and ended the call.
Susequently, when I got the verification call the person told me about the package details & conditions. The 2 additional conditions revealed by him of which I was totally unaware of i.e.
* No booking will be confirmed during the blackout period which is from 20th December to 7th January.
* You are required to send a DD of INR 550/- for the package of 4Nights/5Days
* You are required to send a DD of INR 750/- for the package of 7Nights/8Days
This is more shocking.
The document for booking also contains a condition that for each location we need to give two dates which is quite impracticable when we have specific date to avail a preplaned holiday.
We can not be expected to plan our holiday based on availability at your companies end.
When I told the verification caller about the incident, my disatisfaction and the way in which I was trapped in the series of 3 transactions. He told me that I will get a call within 24 hours and he kept my 3 transactions on hold.
Thereafter, I got a call from Mr. Rohit Sharma and he tried to pacify me by giving console and trying to once again convince me. He also said that if I wish to get the blackberry then, I would need to make one more transaction and he will contribute one transaction so that 5 transactions are complete and I will get the black berry curve. But, I denied as I did not want to again get trapped into his marketing tactics. I then, gave him 3/4 references so that he can convert at least one of transaction.
I am not sure about his tall & misleading claims and luring marketing tactics.
I feel, I am cheated and completely dissatisfied.
My efforts to reach Mr. Rohit Sharma on 02/08/2012 to find the status went futile as he was out at her sisters place to celbrate Raksha Bandhan as told by his brother Mr. Sandeep who received the call.
On 04/08/2012 I tried to call him @ 2:40 PM & 6:00 PM but, his mobile is Switched off.
Finally, @ 7:00 PM I could connet to him but, he was not ready to agree on my gift and wanted me to conclude 4th trasactions by 7:30 PM so that he could add one trasactions from his own sources and then arrange for despatching the gift.
But, I am sure this is another false claim to be broken. Hence, I did not act on the same and preferred to lodge a complaint with Company and asked for refund.
I have send emails & reminders on 07/08/2012, 08/08/2012, 11/08/2012 and 14/08/2012 but, there is no response from company.
In the meantime, I got delivery of 2 envelops which contained the holiday voucher. One of which was opened up to check the contents. It was a surprise to me becasue, I was told that my transaction was kept on hold. Further, when we opened the envelop it was found that the voucher is only for 2 nights & 3 days as against claimed & email confirmation of 4 nights & 5 days.
Thus, there is a clear case of fraud by a cartel of 3 companies namely Great India Travels, Affordable Sales Prmotions & One Touch Solutions India Pvt. Ltd., Address of One Touch is B-19, Ground Floor, Sector 2, Noida 201301.
I hope the Indian consumer complaint forum helps me in getting my refund.
