Dear Sir/Madam
I have purchased Double bed and wardrobe set from
Aircon furniture,
Ayush Decor,
Gopalpura, Jaipur
(in front of ridhi sidhi sweet)
on 5th April, 09.That time salesmen has strongly convinced us that furniture is made of very good
imported malasian wood and there are no paper lamination stick and it is of
totally made of malasian wood and it will easily survive for upto 30 years and
no need to worry. So I have paid 50000(fifty thousand rupees) for this furniture.
Now after few days of purchasing the furniture, we have noticed that some kind
of paper is moving out around the surface of furniture from lower side and some
orange kind of material also appearing there. The wood was also seperating out
from some places.
When it became in more quantity, one day we have checked it completely. It was
very amazing and mind boggling to see that lots of fungus has been placed into
the furniture and the furniture is in very poor condition.Some kind of paper has
been moved out which seems that some kind of gum has been isolated from there.
It is very unfortunate and despairing thing that such kind of poor condition can
be happened of such a branded furniture in such very such a short duration of
only 3 month for which I paid hefty amount. The furniture condition is that it
is even not in repairable condition since the laminated material stuck on it is
so type, that even a child can tear it like a paper and fungus also has been placed in such kind of
furniture.
So I have made a complaint to Ayush Decor, gopalpura on 18th July so in respect
to that complaint one worker has inspected the furniture on 25th july 09. After
that we talked about all this to manager of ayush Decor, gopalpura. The manager totally
put responsibility on us that it has been worsed due to water. He is not ready to accept
his mistake that the furniture is not like that as he have alrady claimed.
Instead of proper wood it has been stuck with laminated material to display it more
attractive. Its totally showpiece since I am not able to use it and its smelling very bad fungus.
When I pressurized him to replace it or returning my money, then he told that it doesn't
come into company policy.
I have tried a lot of time to contact to director of company but he never pick call nor he is
bothered to customer problem. Now I am feeling myself cheated by company.
I would like to request to this Consumer form that kindly help me for getting my refund or replacing
that furniture since it is laminated paper material and fungus also placed into it.
I have also attached here the snaps of furniture looking in bad condition.

I purchased sofa set 7 seater from Aircon furnitures, Gopalpura byepass, Jaipur approx 2 months back with warranty of 5 years.
The size and work of back cushions are different from the general cushions available in the market. We cannot find them in market. The pattern of sofa is such that we cannot use it without cushions. It's useless
When the they delivered sofa set 2 cushion were short and not delivered to us. They said that they ordered in factory and will be delivered to us soon.
But from last two months we called and visited their store many times but they give they always give us excuses only. On phone they always say that we will check from factory and will call back in few minutes but we never get call back from them.
Now, the festival arrived and when we called them and said that you gave us 5 years warranty but you are able to even give us the remaining cushions in 2 months and without cushion sofa is useless so either you give us the cushions or take your sofa back and return us our money.
On this the sales manager who dealed with us said that you call owner directly I am just employ I cannot do anything and when we called owner the phone is no reply.
I request this consumer forum to do needful
