AMC — harassment of my wife and son by indian airlines staff on airport
my wife deepika prakash, her sister monika bhatnagar, and my 1 yr old son were travaelling by india airlines flight IC849 from delhi to pune on 30 nov 2009 scheduled at 1600hrs. they reached air port at 1430hrs , by the time she checked in her luggage and reached the boarding pass couneter, after waiting in que for 45 min, she was told that since she was late, she will not be allowed to board the flight, Inspite of repeated explanations and requests they did not let her board the flight. Flight finally left at 1630 hrs. She was also misguided by the indian airlines staff, that they will send her in another flight scheduelled later in the night the same day. Later they started asking for Rs10000 /- per head to book the flight in some other airline . on refusing my wife was told that she can only go next day by the same flight (IC849). In the entire event an indian airline staff Mr. lamba was the person did not coooperate, was rude , and was not ready to listen . My wife waited at the airport from 1430 to 2130 on airport and reached pune the next day by the same schedule flight( IC849). probably the airlines had already sold the ticket to some one else or some thing else. This is regular affair at IA. I request, some stern action should be taken against the staff or they should be heavely fined so that they dare not trouble the passangers , especially an alone lady with a small child. thank you5%

Indian Airlines — HARRASMENT BY STAFF
Dear Sir,Me , Prasann Rewari , and my wife Rimjhim Rewari were booked on Flight IC # 884 for 17th Nov 07 for LKO – DLI.
The flight got delayed by 6 , 8 and finally 10 hrs. The same departed at 4.30 p.m. instead of its scheduled departure of 6.00 a.m.
To avoid inconvenience to passengers , most of them were shifted to IC # 812 which departed at 11.00 am without any cost.
But when we asked for such shift , the airline staff ( specially Mr. Negi and his other colleagues) neglected us and then at the departure time , asked us , that if we want to go we will have give additional Rs.12960.00 , as they can give us only the Eecutive Class.
On our saying that you have given the other passengers seats without any additional cost , they informed us that the same is at their discretion.
My Compliant is that , that I was being charged additional Rs.12960.00 (over and above my previous ticket cost) at no fault of mine and why this differential treatment.
For the same , I am entitled to a refund of Rs.12960.00 (Indian Airlines receipt No 6511237 dated 17.11.07 ) which I paid for the harassment by the Indian Airlines Staff.
