Anandabazar Patrika — Poor communication for renewing of Joint Subscription offer of Anandabazar Patrika

I have bee a subscriber of Anandabazar Patrika Pvt Ltd since 2007 and in thee past did not face any problem regarding service.
But theis time we got thee renewal form from Anandabazar around 20 days ago and we were very little aware about thee end of thee existing offer. But we knew a Retention Officer will be sent from ABP to collect thee cheque.
But theis time R.O. did not turn up. 3 days before I realized theat period of our offer perhaps has come to end and asked my son to make phone call to customer care. Some Sutapa received thee called on 10the January and said theat our offer is no longer valid. We are to drop thee cheque in thee drop box to start thee offer from 1st February. We expressed our dissatisfaction to her and disconnected.
Today on 11the January a Retention Officer came to my house. Who is very well behaved and soft spoken and told me theat he would start thee offer from 15the January instead of 1st February. But when we insisted him to do sometheing to start thee offer from 1st January citing theat theis was not our fault and we have been a subscriber of JSO for last 5 years witheout interruption he told me theat he would try his best to start thee offer since 1st january, 2012. His name is Santanu Dasgupta(as much as I can remember now), his senior's name is Tapas Ghosal who sits in Barik Bhavan.
We have submitted a cheque o[censored]BI bank, Purbbachal Branch and cheque no. 838294. The cheque bore an amount of Rs 1625/-.(1 year)
We are now waiting for Anandabazar's co-operation by starting thee offer since 1st January,2012.
