[Resolved]  Apollo Children's Hospital — Inappropriate Service and rejecting claim request on wrong grounds to make customer suffer

I want to put this into notice. I had applied for cashless service from Apollo Munich health insurance. Bhupal Singh Mahara Member Id : [protected] on 2nd Oct'13. The reason being told to me that insufficient document provided by the hospital. Request has been rejected on the ground of invailablity of First prescription document of my dad for hyper tension. I don't have the document with me since the first prescription was 20 years ago. Although i have shared the last prescription from doctor with the TPA. But still it got rejected. Since this is the case of Dengu for which all documents has been provided to you and hyper tension as a subject which has no relevance to dengu and also has already been mentioned in the my policy papers, for which i am already paying the premium loading as well. I have written a mail to them to reconsider the request but on calling the TPA suggested to send an email to them and they will help in getting it approved. But the request was again denied by the insurance company on 4th Oct'13. Post that they suggested us to share last or First precription for hyper-tension on 5th Oct, we had shared the last precription to them, the request was again denied on account of same reason. Post discussing again with my TPA pradeep kumar (0-[protected]), the helpdesk again suggested to speak to my pocily agent or share the first prescription from the doctor, which is 20 years Old. I have written a mail to them that i don't have the 20 year old document with me. The Last presciption document shared by me was from Appollo clilnic only. Also i am paying addtional premium with loading for hyper-tension. I completly don't understand why precription document is required for hyper tension, in the case of dengu disease, even if its required there is no reason to ask for first prescription and admant to share the first precription only. Also, the way these agents talk is also not appropriate they are not willing to share their complete names when asked for. Also not ready give the details, in document to me. now willing to connect to insurance company as well. They are saying, doctor suggest you to apply for reimbursement instead of cashless. Now the question is how are they going to process the reimbursement request, if they can't process the initial request. What is the point of taking the cashless pocliy if i have to go for reimbursement and then follow up with the company for more than a month for payment. I am very tired with following up with them now, the TPA company. Also the insurance company should also be approchable. Regards Lalit Mahara [protected]
