[Resolved]  Apple A day Properties Private Ltd — Failure to handover the project-BIG APPLE

Dear Concerned,

I would like to express my deepest grievance against the builder in
Kerala named Apple a Day Properties situated at Cochin. Iam one of the
unfortunate customer who had invested in their so called project “BIG
APPLE” in Palarivattam, Cochin. The builder announced the project in
2006 and the handover date was supposed to be in 2008. But nothing has
happened as mentioned and the building remains incomplete till now. We had
several meetings and discussions with the Directors of Apple a Day and
they promised us to complete the project by this year April. But nothing really happened as promised and the project remains stand still.



We are doing regular site visits and there was no
developments happening and moreover the work is stopped always because of numerous reason which is only well known to the management of Apple A Day.

All the people who had invested with this builder are really depressed mentally and physically as major portion of their income are going towards the repayment of the loan by paying an high interest rate of 12%.They have already taken around 85% of the project value and no major developments has been done to the project. According to the evaluation from our last site visit this project is not going to complete this year also if the circumstances and their approach is like this.



The management really lacks responsibility and commitment towards the
customers, instead of completing the existing projects within the
stipulated period they are busy marketing for the new projects and
taking money from the people by giving them exciting and unreal
offers. But according to our knowledge none of their projects are
completed in time and the completed projects are very few. Still they
are very vigorous in to marketing launching new projects and
advertising it even abroad. They travel frequently to abroad to
promote their new projects, but at the same time failing to deliver
the promises they made to the customers in completing the projects in
time. Its our hard-earned money they are spending lavishly and making
us suffer as we had invested in this project. It’s the dream of every
person to own a house and there are lot of sentiments attached to this
but because of builders like this every common people dream of owning
a house will never come true.

According to the latest information all their projects are stand still
for the last two months.Upon inquiry we were told that there is a
problem with their contractor and again non-availability of river sand
also.We no longer trust their promises as it keep on changes from time
to time. There are so many other unfortunate customers also like me
who had invested in this project and long waiting for the handover.
But nothing seems to be going in a positive manner and the management
of Apple a Day properties is misutilising and taking advantage of our
patience and trust towards them.

I have also lodged the complaint against them with Chief Minister Grievance Cell and Cochin City Police Commisioner and all of you must do the same so that we get a favourable result. Interested customers of all projects of Apple A Day Properties can lodge complaints to Chief Minister Grievance Cell ([protected]@kerala.gov.in),Cochin City Police Commissioner (http://www.kochicitypolice.org/) for speedy resolution. .
