[Resolved]  AQB SER CHGS — charges for what

same here too...AQB SER CHGS INC ST & CESS Rs.827...HDFC bank is fraud bank altogether.They should have intimated it through email atleast.Poor customer service.They should think of other alternative to earn from customers.Its very silly...

I don't know why there is no authority to curb when such a high level of injustice is done on Customers money . These banks only want to eat money of how wierdly they can. They had changed my Corp acc to normal acc, then in the name of AQB they had deducted rs 1000/-, when asked their worst customer service says I have to bear 50/- bugs to make me listen or they will cut the call there only, (:-( what a *) . Even they were not ready to listen what I was asking. Now I am left with closing my account with this pathetic bank and there nefarious services.

Rs 827.50 has been withdrawn from my a/c against AQB SER CHGS INC ST & CESS JUL-SEP2009.I want to know why it has been deducted and that too with out any prior intimation?This is a clear way of cheating the customer.

Im facing the same problem, on 8/oct/2009 AQB SER CHGS INC ST & CESS JUL-SEP2009 Rs.827.50 has been withdrawn with no prior intimation. same thing has happened on july 17 th 2009. wts happening? this is a serious issue.

Same is happned with me twice a year and bank is HDFC.. once in apr-jun quarter and second between jul-oct09 quarter. They also charged 100 rs for DC Fee- R1694 converted to SB regular without providing any information to customer.

06 Aug 2009 DC Fee - R1694 converted to‘SB Regular’[protected] Aug 2009 100.00 10733.38

Could any one pls suggest what is the procegure to go consumer forum against this bank because they deducted amount without any prior intimation.

Well guys you cant blame the bank for the AQB SER CHGS INC ST & CESS charges...
This AQB SER CHGS is for not maintaining your account for 3months continuously.

Average Quarterly Balance (AQB) is the average balance to be maintained in the account over a period of a quarter.

According to the bank agreement you should keep your minimum balance to 5000/- if you dint do so.

Then they will apply you the Average Quarterly Balance (AQB) for not maintaining the minimum balance.

like Mr.Selvakumar claimed that even after maintaining 8000 in his account he got charged with the AQB service which is maybe imposable nor his minimum balance would be more then the usual :P lol...

I have also faced the same issue, even my account is Debited twice with Rs. 827.25 as AQB SER CHGS INC ST & CESS charges for apr-jun and jul-oct 2009. and this has been done without intimation. they have converted my Salary account into SB Regular and Played this trick. is this the way this bank make money?

I forgot to check my netbanking transation.

Tips:
Every 87th day deposit a amount of 1000 or greater according to the transaction to escape from this deduction or to maintain ur HDFC account.

Why no reply for my question? I want my money back. There is no rights to cut money from my salary account with out giving any information.

I have a family acount, where i can keep 0Rs balance. even then a sum of Rs.827.25 has been withdrawn from my account. My father is maintaining the min balance. Also i was not given a proper response wen i called the bank. HDFC Bak reall sucks...! I dont know kow to retrive the lost money(Rs.827.50)

AQB SER CHGS INC ST & CESS JUL-SEP2009 - Rs 850 has been deducted from my account.

HDFC back what they are doing they have deducted three times rupees 827 from my account today i.e 2 nd Feb with out any notice. And have specified AQB Service charges what is this...

I am shocked after seeing the deducted figure in the name of AQB SER CHGS. Can any one from media help us to raise the issue. I was having account with Centurian Bank, which was merged into HDFC bank .So we are not at all aware of the terms and conditons of HDFC. Still without any written consent or form they have deducted the amount.

Sorry to say but HDFC management is really . By deducting such small amounts they are loosing their goodwill and trustworthiness. I will suggest to all my friends withdraw your money and close your account from this fraud bank and convay this massage to all your friends too.

Whats is "ST & CESS ON REMITOPS CHGS 030210" they have deducted 20 rupees and also 5 rupees for third paty transfer.. Earlier they were not used to do so ... HDFC Sucks...

i have an account in hdfc bank, they are hiding the rules and when ever i deposit the amount they are deducting my money, they are not at all telling the same.
1000 rs has been deducted from my account, so i am closing the account with them
they are not standard bank helping customers, they are just extracting money.

Why everyone suffering muchhh?? I too faced the similar situation, I got an credit card from HFDC bank using a fraud ID proof (costs around 200 Rs), they gave me a credit limit of 15, 000 Rs and I swiped all the amt and throwed that card away.. Now HDFC have to suckk.. Follow this all..

Yesterday i have been charged with AQB SER CHGS INC ST & CESS from april to june 2010 an amount of 827.25, without any prior notice. Upon asking the bank they say that these are the new rules from April 2010 onwards and any account below 10000 will be charged this fee. This is totally unfair on the part of the bank. Instead of their stupid promotional offers which are totally useless I would have preferred if they had to at least send me an intimation email. 827.25 is not a small amount and i would prefer if the bank had to refund me back this amount. If not am closing my account and would advise anybody and everybody who is thinking of opening an account in HDFC to please think again, it would be the biggest mistake of your life.
