[Resolved]  Ars Bond — Non receipt of the maturity amount

Hi,

I had been processing the ARS bond of my son S.Deepak (Investor ID:[protected], Bond No:[protected] for the past six months. Earlier they had sent the cheque to a the address where we were staying in the past. We confirmed that the cheque was not accepted by the current tenant at out previous address. Subsequetly we had been in touch with the Coimbatore branch and had sent our new address as well as notary signed certificate details.

Apart from this we have not received two dividends for which we have filled in the necessary forms to get the same resent. We have sent the signed forms on 13th July 09 and have been following up with no result.

When we followed about the payment three weeks back, we were informed that we would get the payment in 20 working days and all the paperwork has been completed for the release of the maturity amount.

Today when we called up the Coimbatore office today, they still are asking about the earlier address and disconnected the phone before we could complete the conversation. When we contacted the Branch Manager Mr. C. Kasi on [protected] and spoke about the concern, he also disconnected the phone.

This is totally unacceptable behaviour toward the public who have trusted and invested their hard earned money. This is certainly not the way to treat the investors.

I hereby want to take suitable action on people who have not responded in the right way and ensure the maturity amount reaches at the earliest. I am hereby confirming my current communication address as below:

S. S. Sreedhar
F/o S. Deepak
104, Sai Sowparnika Apartments,
Prashanth Extension, Whitefiled Road,
Bangalore - 560066.
Phone:[protected], Mobile: [protected] / [protected]

ARS BOND — UNABLE TO GET MY CHEQUES

Presently I am not available in India. I am a full time student in U.K. So far I was a minor and all the cheques (except 4) were received by my Father. My Father has got an account in State Bank of India, Seemapuri, Delhi - 110095. Since UTI is not ready to send any more cheques in my Fathers name, so I could manage to get an account in Corporation Bank, F - 14, DILSHAD COLONY, DILSHAD GARDEN, DELHI - 110095. I have send all paper work in Feb 2009 to get my final cheque against all 162 ARS BOND. But according to UTI letter dated 26/06/2009 it is understood that it was returned. I have contact to UTI office Mumbai and requested them that the cheque be in my name and send it to my bank account straight way as the chief manager of the bank is agreed to do the favour to me. Since a month I am just ringing from U.K. to them everyday and sending loads of e-mail. But no one is bothering to respond me neither they are responding my e-mails. I can not understand what is their intention. I am just asking is there any formality I need to do or just with a request letter to them the cheques (4 previous and one final for which I have send all paper work in Feb 2009) will fulfil their criteria.

My heartiest request is could you please help me to get my cheques straight way to my bank account which particulars already I have provided to them.

Regards
Sandeep Kumar Das
