[Resolved]  Australia — Careless delays at NRI Police Station at Nawanshahr

I Rittu Sharma Kumari travelled all the way from Australia to submit a dowry complaint against my in laws Rajneesh Kumar, Sudesh Kumar, Santhosh Kumari, Anjali Bakri, Jai Dev Sharma, Nidhi Kumari and Raman Kumar. I have been demanded to provide a nice car, send my salary and give a house to my in laws and husband. I have suffered, physical, mental, psychological abuse from all members of my inlaws.

Instead of the police assisting me to file a FIR, ridiculous delays have been made due to political pressures from my in-laws. I have provided councilling reports, doctors reports, ambulance receipts, etc.

I thought as a NRI and a woman i would at least get some justice. I am extremely disappointed that even 15 days later nothing was done and excuses have been made by the NRI Police Station in Nawashar, Punjab, India

I have nothing to resort to but to head back in dismay and with frustration that there is no such thing as Justice for women and assisting NRI, s . Instead there is no help and police are useless. As a victim of dowry and taunts India should take this matter seriously and improve your justice system. I have come to the belief that India is not a place for Justice no matter how much a girl suffers and how much evidence you have, there is no Justice what so ever in India.

I will be letting the Austra;lian goverment know that India has no honest system where justice is a priority.
