A few days ago i had to travel from Madivala to NGV in the morning, around 6 O’clock.
I know the normal auto rate, it would come to 25 Rs in the meter, but not more.
I went towards the auto stand, and was immediately surrounded by a cloud of autowallah’s. I asked the rate, thinking 1 and a half rate would be fine since it was early in the morning, and was prepared to give up to 35 Rs.
The response i got from the autowallah’s when i queried for the rate to NGV was :
100 Rs Sir
I am not singling out any one auto driver, but that is only because it is common with all the auto drivers i have seen in bangalore.

I hired a rickshaw from Seepz to Jumbo Darshan. Usually the fare comes to Rs.22-24. But the rik i took charged me 35 Rs. The number of the rickshaw was MH 03 AA 6449.
Pls let me know how these high charging rickshaws can be controlled.

I hired a rickshaw from kanjur gaon-eastern express highway. Usually the fare comes to Rs.22-24. But the rikshaw charged me 40 /-. The number of the rickshaw was MH 03 R7579.

I hired a rickshaw from Dahisar (east) mininagar, ravalpada to Saidham, Kandivali (east). Usually the fare comes to Rs.28-29. But the rik i took charged me 36 Rs. The number of the rickshaw was MH 02 TA 7569. I warned auto driver about the fast running of his meter, but he didn't took it seriously.
One more auto driver charged me Rs.41 for the same distance (I could not take the no. of that auto).
It seems that Mumbai R.T.O. does not care for such incidences or no control over such people or not interested to act on thiese matters.
Pls let me know how these high charging rickshaws can be controlled.

I hired a rickshaw from andheri (east) sher e punjab, to nanavati hospital, vileprle (west). Usually the fare comes to Rs.25-28. But the rikshawala took charged me 74 Rs. The number of the rickshaw was MH03 AA 324. I warned auto driver about the fast running of his meter, but he didn't took it seriously.
It seems that Mumbai R.T.O. does not care for such incidences or no control over such people or not interested to act on thiese matters.
Pls let me know their having any act for these matter. pls punish him.

Autorickshaw — High fare charged
Hi,I just travelled by auto MH02TA1341 from Ganesh chowk, Kandivli (W) to Kulupwadi, Borivli (E) and his meter showed 39 while as i travel this distance every day it should be maximum 30.
When I questioned the same he started shouting at me. This kind of behaviour is absoultely unaceptable. Pls take action against this driver.
