[Resolved]  Avis Hitek Cooler — Costly parts

I also bought the Avis Sleek Cooler last year from Dwarks sec-7 Market, based on the recommendation of the Shoppkeeper. He told me that it is the best in its line and company exists for last 25 year in the market and its parts were also cheap and compareable with any standard cooler. As soon as 1 year has completed its pump stopped working. When I contacted the Shopkeeper again he told me to call the Avis..customer care. I contacted Avis customer care, to my surprise water pump which normally cost around Rs.100---Rs.140 with one season gurantee for any standard cooler. Avis cooler water pump cost is Rs 550 exclusive thier expert visit of Rs 300. This means that Water pump + expert visit will cost me around Rs.850. Now anyone can guess how the AVIS cooler spare parts prices are comparable with any standard cooler. Also normal cooler pump cannot be fitted in the AVIS Cooler.
My suggestion to the company will be lower thier spare parts prices. You have a good product but made it a durable and cheap. Else this will be same as "It is easy to buy the elephant but feeding them is always expensive".
