[Resolved]  BagItToday — i want to get refund money against cancellation of my booking id[protected]

Dear Sir/ madam,
it's almost 2 months (28th Jan 2011)since BAGIT today telessales team has called up and informed me that I have been nominated for a freegift of a diamond set, samsung camcorder and philips mp3 player. for which they said that i have to bear only insurance cost of Rs 21300. I had paid Rs.19,199/- by my credit card. due to shortage of funds in my credit card I informed them that I would be making the rest of payment in a couple of days. just a day later I got a call that this diamond pack is just 6 diamonds of 10 cents each and the weight certificate provided by them would be in cents and not in carats, so it is not beneficial and I should go for one more pack to get the actual benefit and the ordered one will hardly attract any value on sale. Sensing some mallicious intention by them, I immediately stopped further payment and cancelled the order and asked for refund.
It's almost 50 days since i cancelled the order, every time there are telling 8-9 days for the process. Till date i have not recieved the refund despite repeated requests and reminders for each month i am loosing 1000 Rs to my credit card charges. already 2 months have passed. there seems to be no sign of refund so far.
I am appending you the mails i have sent to them for cancellation and refund for your perusal and reference. request you to pls. take this up withem and help me.

More than a month has passed, I have already lost Rs.1000 to credit card charges already.

this is becoming quite a bitter experience. with a group like India today involved this really was never expected.

I am seriously upset with your customercare team, nobody has the status. every day they say say it's hapening within a week. this they told more than 3 weeks back. i am still awaiting for the refund.

This is the 5th mail i am sending and this time i hope you send me the confirmation mail of the refund amount. otherwise i will have no option but go to consumer court and claim the refund along with filing of harassment case against you for non refund of the amount despite repeated reminders.



Pls. take this seriously and refund my amount.

I have already lodged a complaint with your customer care team on phone, they have found out the details. I donot understand in the same department you people are not able to trace the order no. quite surprising!

Without any order No. in my name how come you have mentioned the order details as per the below mail.

you people have already debitted my credit card account twice for an ammount of Rs.19,199/- wrt to this order. once for and ammount of Rs.16399 and on the same day again for an amount of Rs.2800. So a total of Rs. 19,199/- has been debited from my account on[protected].

it's almost 20 days. i have been following since 1st february through your various channels for cancellation and refund of money.



I donot understand, why it takes so much time. when i inform your team to register complaint for mis communication and cancellation of order along with refund of money on 12th Feb. Later I come to know you register only miscommunication and no mention of cancellation and refund of money.
