[Resolved]  Barclay Credit Card Priority Circle Membership — Worst Priority Service

I got call from barclay and told by the customecare executive that i have been selected for priority member, and told many benifets, like life time 30% discount on selected outlet, cash back, some travelling package, but all come to false, since i m trying to cancel the membership but I never got the call to priority circle, all went to vain, I called the customer care, they are telling they cant do any thing,
What a bad service is,
Be cautious to take the barclay card.

Barclay Credit Card — Priority circle membership

I am a Barclay Credit card holder. I was offered priority circle membership on phone. In my case I had first agreed to joining the priority circle. However, same day, I sent an e-mail to Barclay card customer care telling that I was no more interested in the scheme. However I got no response from them and Rs 5000-00 were debited from my account. Since then, I have sent several reminders, but I have got no response to my mail. I have not paid them any money and now I am daily getting reminders and phone calls for payment. But no one has bothered to listen to my complaint. I also have not received any gift or any details of their offer in written form till date.

Dear Friends,

I am also facing the same Problem. I have intimated by mail and by phone to cancel the membership offer immediately I got the intimation.I have not received any gift or any thing of this kind Even then they have shown Rs.5000 and Service Charge on Outstanding. I sent request mails and called customer care centre many a times. They sent a mail stating that they are in process of investigation. Immediately, in next minute, I got a mail that they cannot reverse the decision. Again, I sent few more requests either I have not taken any gift/money/service from Barclays or Barclays has not given me any thing of this kind. Why compel somebody when he/she is not interested. I continued getting SMSes and Calls everyday. Started increasing the outstanding as if I am defaulter. Today, I got the intimation to pay minimum balance, and have suspended the account. I even complained to Headservice. They said to respond within 7 days. No response from them. I do not know what to do. Can any body help me out in this regard.

Barclay Credit Card — Card suspended without intimation

I was using Barclays Credit Card No.[protected]. My card was suspended for 2 months.It was intimated to me to pay minimum outstanding for activation of card. But i had fuuly paid the outstanding along with interest and penalty. Now after payment they refuse to activate my card.
i got a call from barclay c.c.e & told by the c.c.e that I have selected for priority membership in freely and told many benifits. but it is false and after some time they are added rs6741/- in my statement. since i m trying to cancel the membership but i never got a call to priority circle. So all are fraud. i called a customer care executive but they are told, they cannot do anything. so i want to cancel my membership and deduct rs 6741/- to my statement immediately and send me a message immediately.

Barclaycard (complaint) — Wrost Credit Card service

Hi friends,
I am having Barclay Credit Card[protected] **** 0515) from last 6 month's .I have paid Rs. 4000 for the transaction which haven't done. I called Customer care many times but nobody gave me any solution.
Finally The Recovery department people start calling me 3 to 4 times a day and started blackmailing me.
For almost 1 week These people made my life misrable.

The Attractive features of this card are

1) Worst No.1 Customer Care Service

2) Worst No 1. Recovery Department

3) Worst No.1 Statement Delivery Service

4) Worst No.1 Online Service.


So Friends, Don't make your life misrable by choosing this card.

Please AVOID THIS CARD

BARCLAYCARD is malicious and fraudulent. I have similarly been forced to pay for a transaction I did not carry out but was entered on my account, by their own admission, by their error. Their customer services claims that the recoveries department acts separately and so has not been notified of the error by Barclaycard itself! Can you imagine??? THEY ARE FRAUDULENT.
The customer service of Barclay card offered me Priority circle for Ruppees 5000/- and i took the same, i received the priority circle receipt but no Gifts which they promised and when i called the customer service, they say they have dispatched the same and i have received it, and finally when i gave them the booking for a complimentary stay, i have not receiverd the complimentary stay as well, so could anybody advise me on what steps to be taken.
