My father who is 92 and has been a Barclays customer for many many years made a transfer to his grandson's account in St Lucia on 13th June. The money went out of his account on 15th June. The money has never arrived. I have contacted Barclays twice and despite having power of attorney to deal with my father's affairs, it was refused and they insisted on talking to him to confirm the account. This was done. It is now 27th June and still the money has not arrived...what do we do now. His grandson was told by the Bank....Bank of Nova Scotia, Vieux Fort, St Lucia that the money is routed through Trinidad. Also the money was converted to EC dollars and we didn't ask for this to be done. Just wanted the money, £1000 to go down to the bank in Sterling. He had made a previous transfer to the same account and there was absolutely no problem. Please advise as soon as possible....A.[protected]@sky.com Thank you Was this information helpful? |
