I also got trapped for priority circle membership.

i received my statement on 06-Apr-08. In that you have debited my account with Barclaycard Priority Membership Fees Rs. 5000 + Ser Tax Rs. 618 (Total Rs.5618/-). I had told at that time only that i dont want this membership.

on receipt of statement on 06-Apr-08, i immediately called customer service department and i talked to Mr. Rufy regarding the same, and he was saying you can not reverse those charges as it was debited on 10-Mar-08 and it has already passed 21 days. Now tell me how can i call customer care without knowing that they have debited my account. and that time i asked him to connect to any senior executive, as he was not able to solve my problem. Till now i have not received any call from Barclay Card Customer Care department. I am receiving calls only from Collection department.

Please also note that i have not received any document from Barclay Card regarding membership till date.

i am following up with them since last FIVE months.

I received mail from Barclays stating "you have forwarded my request to the concerned unit for processing and you will hear from us shortly."

I have received this reply from Customer care at least 2-3 times. But no action taken and cancellation not done till date.

I am getting SMS & calls from your collection department asking for payment.

Today i have received one SMS from Barclays stating : "DEAR CUSTOMER, THE PAYMENT ON YOUR BARCLAY CARD IS OVERDUE. PLEASE PAY IMMEDIATELY TO AVOID BEING REFERRED ON THE CREDIT BUREAU. IN CASE OF ANY DISPUTE, FEEL FREE TO CALL US AT[protected]."

It is a clear cut delay from Customer care and BPC.

Barclays Credit Card — Useless Service

I was a customer of barclays card. I have used the card for petrol of Rs. 500.
After that I have recd a call after the due date that you have to pay Rs. 512. I have paid the said amount.
On the next month again I have recd a call from them after the due date saying you have to pay Rs. 350 amount as penalty.
In this scenario nor I have recd any bill from their end neither they are confirmed me on time. So, I have called to the customer care and register my complaint to them. But still they are not able to settle my case and keep on calling me repeatedly - through Phone or SMS.
While calling to the phone no I am no getting no response - saying no is not in use ([protected]).
I have also got a SMS on 09/08/2008 @9.08AM saying please pay your bill before 28/07/2008. How a customer will manage this back date.
I feel that the system of the company is not proper except to harassing their customer unnecessarily.

I am Nishank Singh i never apply for some sort of service from you barclay bank named Prority Circle and you had mentioned 6000 Rs. in my monthly statement.

So i want to kow is this the way to behave with you customers and it really make effect on market repo. Please reply me back ASAP.
