[Resolved] BBMP garbage services, Jayanagar 1st B, Bangalore — The Garbage collection personnels are refusing to collect garbage unless given some money

To Whomsoever it may concern,

Please try and extend us your kind help as this issue is turning out to be a nuisance for people in my home (property no. 224/27, 8th main road, Byrasandra, Jayanagar, 1st B, Bangalore 560011). The garbage collection takes place right in front of my house at around 9:30 - 10:00 am. The lorry stands right in front of my house and they refuse to budge an inch as people in my home go for work at that particular time. Consistently, I have requested them to change the place of their garbage collection. This is the kind of sight the government (which claims to clean the city every morning) makes us see every morning. Also, if there is any extra garbage in front of the compound (thrown by the neighbouring residents) they refuse to clear it unless we pay them money, if they don't find us, they ignore the garbage. I have attached a couple of photos for your reference.

In-spite of Repeated Complaints by Residents against Throwing Garbage/Trash/Plastic Covers/ Varieties of Garbage/Trash - There is Rampant Dumping of Garbage/Trash/Varieties of Trash/ Empty Plastic Bottles on the Roads in front of Residents Houses in Residential Areas near Hebbal - Kempapura, Bangalore, Karnataka, There seems to be Dumping of Garbage/Trash/Plastic Covers/ Varieties of Trash/ Empty Plastic Bottles on the Roads in front of Residents Houses. A Couple of People using the Roads for Dumping of Plastic Garbage/Trash/ Empty Plastic Bottles. This is a Rampant Nuisance here in spite of Having a Door to Door Garbage Collection.

We are shocked to learn that a garbage dumping and sorting yard right in front of our residential blocks.Our Pavilion road houses residences with senior citizens, Infants along with others. Sri Saraswati Vidya Mandir a school for all the local jayanagar kids is also here.A creative architect's office is another important office.Adjoining this is the play ground where children from all over the state participate in various events.
Please issue orders to stop this activity here with immediate effect.
