[Resolved] Bharat Gas — delivery of expired cylinder | |||
My consumer no. is 3008 in the name of LEROY D'SA. I have a Bharat Gas connection and have a facility of 2 cylinders. On 19th January, 2013 my gas was over so when I order a refill cylinder on 21st Jan, 2013 (Monday) and reminded them that standing instructions are for Saturday delivery they asked me to call again on 31st Jan as saturday, 26th was a holiday. On 31st Jan I called and asked them to supply gas cylinder on 9th February as it was my off from work but they asked me to call again on 7th Feb. 2013. I called and ordered gas on 7th Feb., 2013 they told me that it would come on Saturday and gave me order no. 84. On Saturday the gas cylinder was delivered but on taking delivery my wife noticed that the cylinder had 04 12 which means the expiry was the last quarter of 2012 and she refused to take the cylinder. The delivery man told her it was ok to accept and when she refused to take delivery he questioned her whether she checks all the provisions when she purchases. She made a call to the Bandra Gas which is our dealer situated opp. Gaiety/Galaxy cinema and informed them,. They promised to send it on Monday so she took leave and stayed at home but even after calling Bandra Gas[protected], 6501698) they did not send the replacement cylinder. This is the second time this situation has occured with us and the gas company and their staff are rude and disconnect our calls when they hear what we have to say. We are at their mercy because we need the cylinder. Kindly do the needful and give us justice. Was this information helpful? | |||
