[Resolved] Bharat Petroleum — Cheating Customers by charging extra

Hi, People at the Bharat Petroleum petrol pump chennai-82 (Sri Ramachandra Agencies, Peravallur - Explosive License no - P/SC/TN/141337 (P121772)) have been charging Rs 1.00 for every fill for Rs 100. Also the quantity of fuel will be for Rs 100. They say that, that is what they follow and will not fill if they are not given the Rs 1 more. This has been happenning until the recent price drop. Also there had been multiple incidents where consumers were told that they had not paid for the fill even when they had. Readings will be taken, calculation on the day's sale will be done and ultimately, the consumer will be told that he had not paid. I had personally witnessed this once and was a victim of another. I request the consumer forum and Bharat Petroleum to take this seriously and undertake necessary actions. Dear Sir,
We take petrol for our vehicles from Bharat Petroleum at Indra Nagar, Tambaram Sanitorium, Pallikaranai and Medawalkam. We don't go anywhere except Bharat Petroleum for our requirements. On 11.08.09 we visited Indra Nagar Bala Sai Narayana Agencies, but to our amazement, we were charged Rs. 114 for 2litre petrol and 100 oil for one of our vehicles - TVS Champ. It seemed to us more than what they deserve to get. We are waiting for your response.

People at the Bharat Petroleum petrol pump Hosur (Venkateshwara fuel &service station, Sipcot Hosur - have been charging actul Oli MRP is 7.50 he claiming extra Rs 0.50 for every oil pocket(40ML)Bill no 20743 dated 17/08/2009. They say that, that is what they follow and will not fill if they are not given the Rs 0.50 more every oil pocket. Also there had been multiple incidents where consumers were told that they had not paid for the fill even when they had. Readings will be taken, calculation on the day's sale will be done and ultimately, the consumer will be told that he had not paid. I had personally witnessed this once and was a victim of another.

I request the consumer forum and Bharat Petroleum to take this seriously and undertake necessary actions. Please have regular / surprise audits undertaken to ensure that standards are followed and the consumers are not cheated.
