BigFlix — Cheated by BIGFlix movie rental company!

I registered for BIGFlix membership on 4 June 2011 (Member id[protected] via a store next to my home at Ahimsa Marg, Chincholi Bunder Malad(W) Mumbai-400064. I opted for a 6-months one disk unlimited plan, and picked up the first DVD 'Malinda & Malinda' from store. As explained by the sales person my plan was an unlimited plan and the Movie can be picked up from there very store unlimited number of times. The whole idea of buying the membership was to visit the store and pickup the movie unlimited times as per my convenience.

Few days later I found the Big-Flix store closed. I received an SMS that "Connect Manager" will contact me 4-5 working days, but the day has not yet come and I never received any call. I registered a complain at customer care on 17th June 2011 (Complain No.[protected] and was given an assurance that "Connect Manager" will contact me, but same has not yet happened.

I am a working professional and cannot sit at home waiting for DVD from movie Rental Company that is fraud and cheating the public.

Claiming to provide a plan with unlimited service charging 1599 RS, has just offered 1 DVD to me (that picked from the store and store no more exists). Further to that DVD I collected also never worked and I feel is a pirated one.

Today again when I called the customer care, the rep suggested me to cancel the membership on the website and I will get the refund. When I went on the website to do so, the terms and conditions says that no refund will be given for remaining 5 months.

I have no hope that my issue will ever get resolved since the company is cheat and same has no intention to resolve customer issues.

My membership is still active but of no use.... I recommend the prospective customers to never ever think was wasting money on this so called unlimited movie rental company.
