[Resolved]  Birla Sunlife / Dream Plan — Policy is rejected but refund cheque is not received

Hi,

I had paid the amount for the Dream plan (an term plan) by cheque which was en-cashed by Birla Sun life in Nov 2008. But after perusing for number of times by mail and by phone I had been told that the policy is dispatched and will receive soon. But on 7th Mar 2009 when I had called in Mumbai head office I had been told that the policy is rejected as the documents required were not handed over by the agent and my cheque is dispatched in the Chandigarh branch of Birla Sun life. After calling to them I had been told that the cheque is not received in the Chandigarh branch and the branch manager had sent the mail to clientservices (Birla sun life) on 7th march 2009. But till date (20th march) I had not received any mail or call from Birla Sun life.

Please guide me for getting my money back
