[Resolved] Birla Sunlife Insurance — Fraud by BSLI - changed address & opened new policy by misguiding | |||
This is regarding the fraud that "Birla Sun Life" insurance company has done with me. I have one policy (Policy no.[protected] running with BSLI from Oct-2008, few days back one agent contacted me clamming to be an BSLI employee. He told me that they need to do some changes in my policy in order to provide me maximum benefits. There representative came to me & took a cheque from me to change the mode of payment (currently by ECS). But when I logged into my BSLI account & checked the details I found that they have opened a new policy in my account out of my knowledge & without getting any such request. Not only this they also changes my contact details (Address & contact no.) so that I can not get the policy documents. Now when I called the customer care of Birla Sun Life they are saying that this is my mistake & they are not responsible for this. This is completely a fraud case as I never signed any new policy document as well as I never requested for any change in my address that was registered when I opened a policy in 2008. The company did all this without any proof. I also mailed my issues to them but not getting any response. In short: 1. A new policy has been issued without customer concern & signature by following illegal ways & misguiding the customer. 2.
