The complaint in question is in fact representing the similar grievances faced by many a consumers of the mobile phones these days.By paying hefty prices and purchasing branded goods the consumer naturally expects qualitative post sale services. If that basic responsibility on the part of the vendor, of attending the problem with the product by rectifying the defect is missing then the very purpose of purchasing the branded items with warranties is grossly defeated, especially a reputed brands such as Blackberry can do so is a thing to be wondered and worried. This is to be considered seriously.
Dear Sir,
Further to the above complaint i had recevied a phone call from the mentioned service centre today. They said the battery is not in stock and it would take another seven to eight days for the change. That takes the total number of days to 20, just for a change of a mere battery. How can a battery of a latest model not be in stock? WHO WILL BE RESPONSIBLE IF THE PHONE BURSTS IN THE INTERIM? Furthermore it was said that rest of the problems can only be catered after the battery issue is resolved and that would take another ten days. So in totality for the phone to be working properly it it takes 30 days from the date of booking complaint in the service centre. This is highly dissatisfying and unresonable. Would never recommend any one to get a blackberry. Disgusting after sales service.
And we as consumers cant do anything. This is nothing but abuse of dominant position.

Blackberry — Issues regarding change of phone
I own a Blackberry Handset 8520 with IMEI No. [protected], and the same is under warranty, i had a issue with my phone with S key not working, i submitted the phone with Blackberry service centre. After few days, i got mail that the phone is not under warranty due to liquid damage.First of all, i had an issue as there was no water gone into my phone, after discussion i accepted that it could be due to sweat, and i asked the Service Centre to return my phone.
The service centre gave me a phone with the whole phone replaced, i gave a black phone and the phone was turned grey, i gave a working phone with a single key not working and the phone returned to me was not working, and was in a poor condition.
After correspondence, with the officials, they are replying that this liquid damage and they are not accepting the fact that they should return my phone in the same working condition.
I request you to take an immediate action regarding this as i am loosing my business due to non availibility of phone.
