blackberry curve 9300 — Blackberry Curve 9300 Phone under warranty - LCD Screen stopped working

I was a BB fan till yesterday, when I received a bizarre reply from them with regards to the service they provide.

I've purchased 'Blackberry Curve 9300 White' phone in September 2011 which came up with 18 Months Warranty and 6 Months Warranty on all Assesories.

My Blackberry Curve 9300 LCD Display stopped working (Internal Liquid Damage), that is almost 75% of the LCD display doesn't light up when the phone is ON. This has happened ALL OF A SUDDEN. My phone did NOT come in contact with either water or any liquids or the Screen didn't EVEN CRACK or BREAK.

After trying a number of ways like removal of battery and OS reloading, it didn't work. Finally I handed it over to the Hyderabad Service Center, as it is still under warranty.

I've received an reply from them:

"The handset is Under Warranty but will not be repaired if it is an liquid damage. The handset will not be considered in warranty. The handset can be repaired on chargeable basis,the estimation of the repair/replacement is Rs. 5500/-"

Note: Since my purchase of this phone, I had many problems.

1. Such as Screen Display has been getting SWITCHED OFF automatically. If I reload the Operating System the Phone used to worked fine again.

2. Phone Battery after charged fully drains very quicky.

3. I even felt that after the phone is fully charged, the handset turns HOT especially the upper region.

Please help in this regard what can be done and how can the handset warranty doesn't come into picture when the WARRANTY for the Handset is for 18 Months out of which just 10 Months passed. Please reply back for the all the issues mentioned above.
