[Resolved]  Blackberry torch 9800 — Malpractice by Blackberry service centre

1. I am the owner of a Blackberry Torch 9800, bearing IMEI [protected].

2. The instrument recently developed a snag - I stopped getting ringtone. That was the only problem, because I could make call, receive call and also use your fabulous email service.

3. I took the phone to the authorised service centre at Bhopal ---- M/s Sampark System on 15 November 2011. It was examined by a front office personnel, whose mobile number is [protected]. He told me that the ringer of the instrument needed to be replaced.

4. I asked him to replace the ringer and enquired about the expected cost. His reply was shocking. The person told me that it will cost me Rs 2,200 if I "do not want a receipt." I insisted that I wanted a receipt for the payment. He told me that in that case the instrument had to be sent to Bangalore for repairs and it would cost me around Rs 7,800. I did not give the instrument to him for repair because by that time Sampark System had lost its credibility in my eyes.

5. Apparently, the Blackberry authorised service centre at Bhopal is committing a felony by not issuing receipt for services rendered, thereby cheating the public exchequer. It is probably cheating RIM too because if it does not issue a receipt for services rendered, he does not intend to keep the company in the loop.

6. As Sampark System is its only authorised representative at Bhopal, is not Blackberry is directly responsible for encouraging this kind of malpractice?

mobile is proper not working as:-
1- battery backup only half day
2- mobile processing is slow
3- mobile hang problem

Blackberry Torch — Poor and Unprofessional Service centre

Blackberry Service Centre in Bangalore have people who have 0 interest in customer service. I have handed them over my blackberry torch which is within varranty and the call receive (top button) had come out (almost). They came back to me after 2 days saying there it cannot be repaired under varranty and are claiming fake stories for why it can't be repaired. This is a 5 month old product and they claim to have found liquid inside the phone. This is absolutely incorrect, and to top it all, the manager Vinod does not bother listening to what the customer has to say, and while I speak he keeps the phone aside and attends to other calls and comes back on line after a while and pretends to be listening. When I ask him to show some professionalism and listen to the customer, he say "I m like this, bad at customer service. you are good, go talk to anyone you want" - this makes me feel that I am dealing with some rowdy who has no sense of talking politely. I have spent 35 thousand on the phone and cannot expect Blackberry to wash their hands off. This phone was replaced 5 months back for faulty key board and this is the second incident wher the button is not working and Blackberry just does not want to own it up.

I HAVE BOUGHT A BB TORCH FROM DUBAI WHICH HAS INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY.I AM NOT ABLE TO GET SERVICE HERE IN COIMBATOTE FROM REDINGTON WHO I AN AUTHORIZED SRVICE CENTER HERE .
THEY CLAIM THAT THEY ATTEND ONLY PIECED BOUGT FRO HERE.WHY?

Blackberry Torch — Blackberry lack of response

Recently my e-mail was compromised and it was necessary to change my password - this was done successfully and the e-mail account is operating satisfactorily ([protected]@btinternet.com). Blackberry prompted a validation of the new password - that was over a week ago.
Since then every effort has been made on the Blackberry (Torch 9810) and on the internet, including phoning the Customer Service Telephone. Despite assurances ther has been NO resolution of this problem.
I am at present touring in New Zealand and the loss of e-mail is both frustrating and inconvenient, costly and potentially damaging to my business.
Your internet sites are arcane and confusing and the lack of interaction disgraceful, possibly an anorak's dream but useless to mere consumers such as myself. I rue the day that we "converted" to Blackberry with their promises of support and prompt troubleshooting.
I cannot recommend this non responsive Company to anyone - big name, little (NO) service
