Respected Ma'am/Sir,
This is to bring to your notice that I, BINA GOEL, booked a non-document domestic courier from Delhi to my daughter, Varshu Goel in Mumbai via Blazeflash Courier Services on 4th Feb 2012. My consignment number was[protected]. The courier consisted of 850 grams of assorted chocolates at the time of booking.
Today I got the courier returned to my address, with remark "yeh packet chuha ne khaya hain, isliye isko R.T.O. karna hain".
On 8th February, at 10.00 am, I called the Andheri Branch in Mumbai to enquire the status of my courier. I was told that the courier has been re-directed to Lower Parel Branch in Mumbai and will be delivered that day. When I called the Lower Parel Branch, the staff refused to comment about any knowledge of my courier.
On 9th February 2012, when I enquired at the Kamla Nagar Branch, Delhi (where I had booked the courier) about the staus of my courier, I was told that since the contents of the courier were damaged on the 2nd day of its route, it was never accepted by the Lower Parel Branch of the company itself who have REFUSED the courier twice from the Andheri Branch. I was kept totally in dark about the damage till this day.
This is clear mishandling of my courier. These last few days have given me and my daughter a great deal of stress on being wrongly informed, misguided and cheated by the courier agency.
I would like a monetary compensation of not less than Rs. 5000 ( Five Thousand rupees) for my losses to compensate for not only the full courier fees, but also for our suffering and the damaged contents of the courier.
I request you to look into this matter at the earliest.
