[Resolved]  BMC — Complaint about Street Dogs

BMC — Stray dogs continuously barking

I am residing at Rosie apartments which is located in north avenue road, Santacruz west, Mumbai 400054.

The problem is every night there is a group of 6-7 stray dogs that are continuously barking throughout the night thereby causing a whole lot of disturbance. This happens right in front of the RD Burman chowk.

Request you to kindly intervene and resolve this issue.

BMC — Illegal Parking on Footpath

This is in regards to illegal parking on the footpath on NGN Vaidya Marg, Bank Street, Fort, Mumbai near Jimmy Boy Restaurant.

Cars are parked on the walkway creating a nuisance for pedestrians.

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Seema Nair and am a resident of 35/701, Sanskruti, 90 Feet rd, Thakur Complex, Kandivli(E), Mumbai-400101.
I would like to bring to your notice the ever increasing dog menace in my society. There is this one particular dog which has bitten or pounced upon (thus fracturing people's bones) at least 10people in the past 6 months. I am truly petrified of this dog and so are the children of our society. Senior citizens and children are at most risk. Our elders carry sticks along, when they go for morning walk in fear of the dog pouncing on them.
All I am requesting The BMC is to give us, our kids and parents the freedom to move around our society in the least without fearing anybody... any dog. Is it too much to ask for????

Please look into the matter with utmost urgency.

there is a stray dog stay in our society, the dog feed from outside the society but sit and hang around our passage and daily coming at late night and make dirty place by EXCRETE/LOO/POTTY & URINE in the front of few resident door/room including me.

TODAY GOVERNMENT SPEND CRORES OF RUPEES FOR GOOD HEALTH. AND HERE WE ARE LIVING COMPLETELY ON THE WAY OF VARIOUS DISEASE SO PLEASE HELP US.

So this is my humble request to you to please pay attention on my letter and send Dog catcher team to throw/keep away from our society, and visit immediately in this area so that we can get rid of this problem soon.

These dogs are causing lots of issues not only in term of barking at night and disturbing sleep but these dogs also chase the cycles and small kids.

BMC — Nuisance of street dogs

There are lots of dog in our area they are targeting every one also small kids while they are going to school , they have also laid new children in our building area my adrress is

I live at Ghatkopar, Amrut Nagar, Nikita-Natasha building. There are numerous dogs in our vincity, some of them are regularly feed by some dog lovers residents. The dogs gave birth to some 4 pups and even they have grown up now. Day by day dog's population is increasing, i wan't to complain that pls take these dogs away, they'r not letting us study, sleep and walk properly. They'r also dirtying our compounds too.
Requesting you to please take some action on this AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Pls.

There is a dog of white and brown colour and always trobles me. That dog stays near the building at around 4:05 pm when I go to my classes but because of him I cannot attend my classes, the dog barks and chases me. The dog has become a big problem for me. Hi,

Iam Danish Hayat from Sakivihar Complex, Sakinaka Andheri(E). We are also facing the same problem of number of stray dogs within and out side our complex. At least 20 dogs in a small complex. They bark at everyone, even chase people, scare the kids playing around. They also create trouble to the people carrying daily goods.

Situation becomes worse in night and early morning, when they start barking collectively. You can't sleep properly. My sister has a month old baby, and because of dog barking all the time, baby can't sleep properly.

Did you guys get any response from BMC after posting your complaints. I am sure there will not be any response :(

Stray dogs continuously barking - BMC

We are the resident of Sahar Village, Church Pakadi, Road No 2, Andheri East, Mumbai - 400099

The problem is every night there is a group of 6-7 stray dogs that are continuously barking throughout the night thereby causing a whole lot of disturbance.We are not able to sleep and the children are not able to study. This happens right in from the Mother Mary's Statue (Groto) till Super Star Jewellery. Please send the Dog Catcher immediately.

Stray dogs barking and bitting the children- BMC

We are the resident of Mahalaxmi Housing society, near Jose nagar, Mohilli Village, sakinaka, Andheri East, Mumbai - 400072.

The problem is that there are many dogs who bark at every night causing a whole lot of disturbance and also these dogs bark on small children and bit them, basically these are stray dogs. We are not able to sleep and the childrens are unable to cross those lanes. This happens near Sakinaka and Kazi society in mohilli village, sakinaka till jorem society.Could you please send the Dog Catcher immediately and take necessary action against these stray dogs.

My name is AJAZ KHAN. Residing at BAZAR ROAD, BANDRA WEST MUMBAI 50.

I would like to bring your kind attention on the problem being faced by
Residents of bazar road. Sir there 3 to 4 dogs are in street dogs sit down at 87 c building
They bark even on permanent residents of this area. I have seen and faced this situation where these
dogs barks on us and come closer to bite, several person have faced the
same problem especially small children & senior citizens. I Personally had succumbed
to an injury in my leg as I moved a step back
When one such such dog was trying to jump on to me. While I moved a step
backwards, there was a stone kept there as a result of which I slipped
and the ankle of one of my legs twisted. Especially at night and day these dogs
just come running behind you in a group and are almost about to bite.

So this is my humble request to you to please pay attention on my letter
and send Dog catcher team immediately in this area so that we can get
rid of this problem soon.

BMC — Stone at Middle of Road

I am staying at Raheja Reflections, Thakur Village, Kandivali East. There is one stone at the middle of circle just next to Raheja Building where many time accidents are happening. it required to be removed on priority basis otherwise it will result into more accident specially during late evening/night hours.

My name is A. Das, a resident of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Officers Quarters at Bandra-Kurla Complex (behind MMRDA office), Bandra(E), Mumbai - 400051. I am writing this complaint on behalf of the Resident Welfare Association.

I would like to bring your kind attention to the problem being faced by residents of our colony at Bandra-Kurla Complex. Around 2-3 years back, we had just couple of dogs in and around the colony. Their number has increased to almost 10 due to there regular breeding. They are continuously barking, quarrelling, and moving in different floors. It has become a complete nuisance. One cannot sleep peacefully; calmness in the colony has completely gone. They have posed severe health risk to all the residents, particularly for the kids.

So we humbly request to you to please send dog catcher team immediately and sterilise these dogs in our colony so that we can get rid of the problem of increasing number of street dogs in and around the residential colony.

BMC — BMC Charging fine even the dustbin is not available

BMC employees charging peoples for throwing wrappers sideways to the road, The road don't have any single dustbin installed by BMC. BMC employess charging around 200 Rs for not providing the dustbin and insist people to pay the fine for same.
