[Resolved]  BSNL Broadband Connection — excess bill

Subject: Excess billing on broadband usage for month of oct 2008 on Telephone Number - [protected]

Dear sir,
It was shocking to receive a bill amount of this kind as my usage is very limited and specific.
We as professionals are not equipped to keep a check on hacking of password nor have the time to fight and look for the loop holes in your system.
I have not paid the bill in protest that even after complaining to the ac section-kottayam, they did not identified the personel computer from which all the usage of internet has come.The replay was that the id from which net has been used is ours and they can do nothing more to help us.Kindly make arrangements to send us the corrected bill as per our usage of telephone and internet.And planning to discontinue the services if this kind of bills is received in the coming months. I understand that a customer of my size does not make any different to BSNL but the bill of this size makes a big difference to us.

It is also surprising for the company of the size BSNL is that there is no system in place from the telecom company to HELP the customer.
1. The customer should be giving an option o[censored]sing the broadband service from one telephone number only so that the hacker cannot misuse it.
2. Secondly there should be a credit limit for the customer’s usage so that they are not shocked by this kind of bills.
3. Thirdly a company of BSNL size should be able to handle and track down the misuse of information / data.
4. Provide us with the detail usage of the broadband (or the Link if available on the internet) in the month bills.
I understand that u will we pressed with complains of this nature but it will be of great help i[censored] could look into the details personally and reply on the same.Plz understand our pboblems if this kind of bills received.

Dear sir, We are using your bsnl broadband plan Rs.250/monthly, from 11/07/09 to until now its not working any time . so you may please confirm with the specified person and take an immediate action for our complaints, and we are request you to extended the using days for the days which we are not using.If the complaints regularly coming for us.We will go for another broadband is bettre for us.
Our connection nomber is [protected] that is in mother's name who is Selinamma Joseph.This connection from ponkunnam branch, at kottayam dist.

It is better to protect ourself than getting hacked.So use a better antivirus (registered version).
