Hi,
I have requested for BSNL broadband connectin with a new telephone through BSNL online resgistration process. To my surprise, I got a call from one of BSNL's vendor called me up and asked me for my comfortable timings so that he can come and collect the application form. With tha surprise, I applied for BSNL connection and paid an advance/deposit of Rs. 500/- the very next day. He promised me that I will get the telephone connectin within a week and Modem one week after that.
Its been 4 weeks since I appiled for this connection and nothing has happened. By the end of third week, When I try contacting the vendor, he didn't give any information or shown enthu on solving my problem. I, all by myself, somehow identified the Velachery exchange number (As I need a new telephone connetion, all the previous contacts redirected me to Velachery exchange - I stay in that region).
I called the contact number and said "Sir this is Mahesh from Velachery" and the replied "Mahesh na periya governer a? We have a total of 1, 90, 000 conmections and I cant identify you by your name. Give me your customer ref. no". This is the first sentence came out from that so called Customer care guy in Velachery excchange. I really got irritated and blasted him after that. He didn't even had the courtesy to ask for a sorry.
And still, I haven'y got phone connection or any other updats from BSNL.
