it's not your fault but you have to pay for your own doing. bsnl just doesn't have the scripts smart enough to separate the login slots before and after 2am. since you have logged before 2am and continued till the morning, bsnl considers that to be part of the "limited" use period.
i recommend you cease the connection right away to avoid paying the bills or try to fight this with the accounts officer. do let us know what the outcome is.

BSNL Broadband plan 500C+ — Overbilling
Respected sir,iam from kerala i have a bsnl broadband connection with 500c+ plan.iam using this service since 2007.last month at night 09:37pm i connected my modem and countinously used to next day 8:18am.at this time i downloaded about 700mb contents before 2am (2am-8am unlimited hours) and downloaded 3gb of contents after 2am.but the whole contents i downloaded is calculated as chargeble units.and my last months bill is Rs.4233.
