SIR,
i purchased bsnl sim card{[protected]} in month of july but just after 1 month it began showing me "SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED" i tried to seek support from customer care but no response was given except "YOUR COMPLAINT IS IN QUEUE EVEN AFTER 14 DAYS";Finally i took duplicate sim;bt after 2 months it has again started giving me same error & when i talk to customer care they donot respond apprecabily.
Pls help me ,I AM A STUDENT OF ISM-DHANBAD{IIT-DHANBAD}

MY SIM CARD IS REJECTED DUE TO WRONG ENTRY OF PUK CODE. I WAS INSERTING RIGHT CODE BUT THERE WAS ALWAYS A MESSAGE THAT YOU HAVE ENTERED A WRONG CODE. I HAVE LOST MY ALL ATTEMPTS DUE TO THIS MESSAGE AND MY SIM CARD IS REJECTED. HOWEVER I HAVE TAKEN ANOTHER FROM BSNL EXCHANGE FOR A COST OF RS. 66. BUT THAT IS COMPANY`S FAULT. THERE ARE MANY OTHER PEOPLES WHO ARE FACING SAME PROBLEM. HOW YOU CAN HELP ME IN THIS MATTER?

      I got land phone set with Caller ID facility on 3.2.2010 from Chendamangalam Telephone Exchange.
      Several times I have approached the authorities for giving Caller ID Facility(Received only the instrument).
      But the authorities have not considred my request till date. Moreover the function of the monitor of the
      set is not working. I request that steps may be taken to allot another instrument and caller ID facility.

          I had bought evdo data card 1 month back from BSNL in calicut..their advertised speeds were 2.5Mbps and i was getting it in calicut but when i moved to Palakkad the speeds have dropped to 0.24 Mbps. I complained and went to the EVDO department in the main telephone exchange but they are saying 0.24 Mbps is the maximum speed attainable in Palakkad. I believe they are falsely advertising GPRS speeds as EVDO speeds in Palakkad and asking customers to pay more. Kindly look into this matter

          This is kindly inform you that We had a landline connection No.[protected] at palakkad Dt Thanchapara Panjath, Palakkayam Village in the name of Sebastian CS.

          since 1 year there were no regular use as every time phone dead.Someny time we requsted to Palakkayam post office to repair the line.one or two time they reached and repaird.But now same condition.someny people suffer this problem in that area.In our home bed ridden & old age parents are living alone..so humply request you to concider my problem as soon as posssible.

              Iam Niranjan singh from Patratu,Jharkhand.
              I have taken BSNL boadband connection from RAMGARH bsnl office.From the last 2 months the service is very-very irregular,when I made a complain about the rebates in my monthly rental,the officers or the Ramgarh BSNL said that I have to pay the amount wheather the broadband service works or not.
              But in the Terms & Condition or Broadband service-- it is written that,"If service is not working more than 3 days then the User gets some rebates in the monthly rental".

              broadband dataone service of bsnl — not given connection as yet

              i have applied for dataone broadband connection against my landline no.on 07.08.2008 vide ref no. MS/0148912 and was assured that i shall be given connection by 7 days. but till date i havent got the connection nor any phone calls from the bsnl people.i dont know when i shall be getting the same.

              BSNL DataOne Broadband — NOT ABLE TO ACCESS INTERNET--SERVER BUSY

              Take a broad band connection just 2 weeks ago and any time try to access the net the servers are down and the connection is pathetic a very very bad experiance

              BSNL DataOne Broadband — Service Problems

              BSNL Broadband is billing lot of amount on the usage and they don't provide quality surfing. Recently www.techfreaks.in has been blocked and not able to open it in BSNL services only. All other Broadband providers are just fine. When i try to complaint through their site, the system is itself down. I don't know why these Govt Companies are lazy to take care of it's users!!!

              BSNL DataOne Broadband — collection of extra rent

              bsnl offers broadband connection with the option to make annual payment. according to which broadband can be used for one year. i made annual payment of rs 5000 + other charges totalling 7500. i was using broadband and no charge was collected for 5 months and after which iwas charged a monthly rental of Rs 500. when i went to the costomer care office asked for it they said it was a mistake and you write a letter stating the problem to the accounts officer and i did so. one month has passed by and still no action has been taken.

              BSNL DataOne Broadband — Really Bad Service

              Dear Sir/Madam,
              I've been using broadband services of bsnl since 2years, and there has been a constant problem with the line. Every now and then the ADSL(link) LED of the modem blinks and the connection drops.This happens every 2-3 minutes, which poses great problem for any online work . If i call up the BSNL customer care people they just confirm about the BSNL light constant status, and after some time the connection is erratic as ever. By seeing the router page of my modem I can see that the SNR Margin is way less than the Attenuation (which represents the noise in the phone line).The SNR should be atleast double of the attenuation, which is inverse in my case, and this being the root cause as per me, but if I try to tell this to the BSNL guys they play the blame game. The broadband people say to tell this to phone line personnel, the phone line people tell to ask the broadband about this problem, in the end I'm the one suffering and no one fixes the problem.The major problem is the connection doesn't stay constant for 5-10minutes also. Even when the internet connects there is a certain hissing noise in the landline.
              So, in brief the major problems I am facing is constant disconnection on my internet and a certain hissing noise on my landline when internet is connected.I think there is some problem with the line, which is backed up by the odd SNR and Attenuation figures on my router page.I request you to ask the BSNL people to fix my problem as soon as possible.

              BSNL DataOne Broadband — charged me on free hour downloads

              Hello Sir,

              Recently i have changed my BSNL plan from BB 350 TO BB 500 where I get free unlimited download from 2AM to 8AM. very rarely i use internet during the day time because it will at office. i have also Scheduled my download to start from 3AM to 7AM on my download software. which is working fine. But today when i checked my usage detail on BSNL portal i was surpriced to see that i have used 2.1 GB for just 5 day. And the funniest part is i was out of station to pune on 6th and 7th where i have turn off my modem and they have charged me on those day as well.

              When i called BSNL (techinical support) they asked me to call billing section when i called billing section they asked me to techinical support. i have been kicked from here and there with out any resolution.

              With lost of hope i am writting this to you so that you take necessary action on this case.

              Please update me on the status and you ca write me back on my email id given above.

              it is such a pity that BSNL is not capable of providing good service to Internet users in Bangalore, the IT capital of india:-)

              Goes to show the incompetence of the BSNL engineers and managers.

              Internet is a key resource for working professionals and students and if one cannot connect easily to Internet, then it is a damning thing to them. Sad that BSNL is the culprit.

              Sites do not connect in time indicating wrongly configured routers, DNS servers and gateways. The problem is not really the speed, but the lack of reliability and assured service.

              I really wonder if BSNL is using qualified engineers who know what is meant by routing loops and how internet routing works to configure their systems and support users.

              Another important issues is that Indian business and users are at the mercy of Google and other search providers who hijack their sessions for increasing their revenue... None seem to care and is showing willingness to help the Indian population.

                i am mr.sankar pathak (advocate), my telephone numb is[protected]. everyday there is some prob with my bsnl net. Either the link fails, or its unstable or my username pass doesn't match.i have to lodge complaints at least twice every week. after i make a docket , d problem gets sort out after 3 days of making the docket and d link stays for a day max ....and then d same problem starts again. i have visited our local telephone exchange, everytime they tell us they will solve the problem ,but it doesn't turns out so. I am very irritated with their service. I am planning to file a suit against them if this continues.it has been continuing this way for years. if you kindly take note of my complain at the earliest i shall be grateful to u.thankyou

                  i am dedicated user of bsnl since last 10-15 years. now i am using bsnl broad band plan @ 500 rs per month from last 6 month . during this time i have problem so many time such as continuously link breakup , slow browsing . even slow browsing issue comes from to time of installation. so many time i locked complaint on customer care but they simply replied some body will come but till today no body have to arrive at my premises, . really i am very disappoint to this type of services apart from this department attempting to implement broadband service at wide level. i don't think with this can be possible with this type of service . i hereby do request to you please resolve my problem as soon as possible. otherwise due to lack of service i can do separation to bsnl & its services,
                  i hope to hear soon with immediate action.

                    My landline telephone 250357 is lying dead for the last 15 days.

                    Such are the useless services of this BSNL Haridwar that inspite of continued complaints and personal chasings, the concerned staff is lying in their deep slumber and do not care for the public grievance. This BSNL Haridwar only wants rental / bill charges and their motto is "hell with the public grievance " . It would be better if BSNL Haridwar is srapped & shut down permanently from Hardwar city and some private operator is allowed to take its place so that haridwar publlic is relieved of this nonworking department.

                    Telephone Number[protected] has been dead last 15days, Made complan so many times,but no one responded on that issue. Every 15 days telephone getting dead/disturb. But department is not taking any such action on that.

                    Telephone in the name of my father Gouranga Ghosh. He is a retired person. He is not able to visit local exchange office every time.

                    Any one can take care of this issue. Why BSNL providing this type of service,. Telephone is a very important communication media now a days.

                    Please look into this issue very urgently.

                              My Name is Jatin Arora, was resident of 5/903, Vaishali, Ghaziabad, UP. I was having a BSNL landline telephone and broadband connection at the same address with the no as[protected].

                              In March 2010 end i was to shift to gurgaon so was in no need of telephone any more so in Feb 2010, I requested one of the Telecom officer of Kaushambi Exchange, Ghaziabad for discontinuing my connection in a written application. I asked for the receiving of that application but she refused and told me that you have to keep a photocopy of the application only. I have a photocopy of that application. She told me that it will be disconnected from next month i.e. March 2010.

                              In march 2010, my landline number was not responding on calling that number so i thounght that it has been disconnected.

                              But on Oct 24th, 2010, i found 2 bills at my address stating that amount of Rs. 3900 approx is pending against me for the months of march to sept 2010. Please look into the matter as i got shifted to gurgaon in end of march 2010 and was not using that telephone any more after feb 2010. It was not disconnected even after giving written application to the kaushambi exchange.

                              You are therefore requested to kindly look into the matter and do the needful.....

                              Sir, Please help me in discontinuing the connection and waivoring the amount also.

The BSNL-NE1 portal in previous days was working and I was able to do everything but nowa days a new web portal as http://selfcare.selfcare.edc.bsnl.co.in is not working at all.. I have called 1500, but the customer care person at that time was unable to take any measure and put the call in busy state....Please take a measure for the same......

                                My mobile [protected] (Agartala) showing as UNREGISTERED SIM since 5.12.2010. I have already lodged complain to Agartala GSM Customer care centre on 6.12.[protected], Jagannath Bari Road office). Next day this centre refered me to Kaman Chowmuni office Mobile section, Room no.408, Phone number[protected] After a day-long trial, one lady staff responded and hearing all she told that they have already received the complain from GSM customer care and the phone will be ok by that day evening (7.12.2010). After that till today ( 19.12.2010) my SIM is still out of service. In between I tried several times to contact with Mobile SDE Sri Kamal chakraborty in his office land phone[protected]and mobile phone. But no response of the calls.

                                Now what to do? Shall I change the service provider and lodge a complain in District Consumer Forum?
                                Please Help me.

                                I deposited amount for BSNL Broadband connection on 03.02.2011 and the modem was installed on 17.02.2011. Though it has been activated, I am not able to avail the same as yet. I requested the officers/staff dealing with BSNL Broadband connection number of times to avail the internet facility smoothly. Assurances from officers/staff from the Telephone Nos. 2222350, 2308585, 2311212, 2330000 has become no use for me. I come to learn from one of the BSNL officers that blinking of yellow light in the modem is happening due to foreign voltage. Is it very critical task to repair under the present infrastructure of BSNL? And, is this problem lone for my case only, not for other customers? Have I not been affected earlier (i.e. before detection of this problem, when only telephone was being used) due to this problem? Why the toll free Nos. 1500, 1507 are not functioning, it is also my question, Sir.

                                I have been availing BSNL Broadband service since 2007. My Customer ID is [protected], Account Number :- [protected], Phone Number :- [protected], Customer Type :- Individual. I have a tariff of Rs. 750/- (Monthly charges) and discounts of rs. 150/- per month. All the time I have been paying around Rs.662 per month. But during the last 2/3 months some irregularities have been found in the bills. Last time I have been charged Rs. 1144/- which was paid on 05.03.2012 AT 10401 and Receipt No. TRP[protected], And again I have received another bill bearing No & Date.[protected].03.2012 for Rs. 1324 including previous balance of Rs. 660.94 plus current amount of Rs. 662.90. I thought that the extra amount of Rs. 482/- (Rs. 1144 - Rs. 662) paid last month would have been adjusted in the current bill. I could not justify the billed amount.

                                Under the above circumstances I like to request you to take up the matter and do the needful.

                                    BSNL new broadband usages meter is excessive not correctly recording the usage. I am going to consumer forum for cheating in billing and providing incorrect metering tool. Even today your self care is showing usages upto 18ct 2010 and not upto date. old metering system was transperent and one could see daily usages.Now it is not possible .Fraudulent people in bsnl department not answering proper way they point to superiors and unable to reply and resolve my complaint. now I will take bsnl to consumer forum for deficiency in service and fraud in billing and usage display is deliberately made poor by replacing old transperent metering system. Bsnl officers seems to be dishonestly working for private netwrok service providers. BSNL officers Take notice of seven days to replace the old usage metering system else i will expose you before consumer forum.

                                        BSNL is not user friendly. for the last 7 days Iam not able to see my usage. Disgusting!.The local BSNL is also not reponding properly.
                                        I am in the Home 500 Combo plan and changed to Home 625 unlimited plan. BSNL took 2 days to change the plan and they say that I have down loaded 13GB in just one day, when my son was using the net for sending job application and they are charging me Rs. 1100/-, after giving me 20% concession as I am central government unemployed pensioner. It is really shocking to me. I am not able to check my BB usage as the portal is not working. When I high speed SSNL internet service with (512 kbps) 750 plan, allows for unlimited down load costs only 750 pm, how can the download by a student on a single day costs Rs.1100/ ?. BSNL is adamant on reducing the bill and not providing records with sufficient proof.. Can any one suggest me how to file a consumer case against BSNL in the consumer court.

                                        u r mistaken. u have to enter http://selfcare.sdc.bsnl.co.in, and plse click registration for existing bsnl cust. enter customer id(plse refer ur bill), user name( any alpha numerical chara), password( any alpha numerical chara), u must enter ur bb user id, after completion, u have to select " service ", then check my bb unbilled usage( to be billed), or billed usage, plse goto any customer service centre( CSC) for any refer. thank you.
                                        I successfully registered in "selfcare.sdc.bsnl.co.in". But I am unable to login. Every time I try to login, it shows that "The password you have entered is not correct. Please enter your password again.(SBL-DAT-00569)". After repeated attempts, I tried the option "Forgot Your Password?". After that I got a new password. But I am unable to Login with the new password also. What I have to do? Please help me.

After registration and getting password not able to access my usage details. data one was very comfortable and served our requirement. pl bsnl may kindly take some positive steps to help us to access our usage details without much hassels.

                                        Enough information or newspaper ads were not given to the customer about the change to check the BB usage summary. In the present statement summary system, it shows 3 or 4 days ago status. Try to show up to last 2
                                        hours summary of BB usage. Thanks.

                                        My broad band plan is 500 Combo having a Limted usage of 1.5 GB . I am unable to login in this site even after successful registration. After entering User id and Password, it always shows that "The password you have entered is not correct". Though I got a new password by using "Forgot Your Password?" option. It also not working. I contacted your customer care officer through phone. He too is unable to give a solution for this. So sorry to tell that the service providing by BSNL is the worst one. I am unable to view my USAGE DETAILS and to limit the usage below 1.5 GB. Old site (www.data.bsnl.in) was far better than the new one. Normally sites are modify to simplify the procedure, but BSNL made things complicated by modifying the site. What I have to do to know my USAGE DETAILS? Sent a reply to my mail at the earliest
