BSNL — Very Worst Service by BSNL | |||
I am a BSNL Chennai GSM customer. I did a BSNL 152 voice booster on 5/10/2013. Needed to go to Karnataka, and did a Rs. 5 roaming booster on 10/10/2013. My previous booster stood cancelled and wasted and I later came to know that the Rs. 5 daily roaming pack was also a voice booster and doing a subsequent voice booster makes the former / previous one invalid. Nice way to cheat the customer without any prior information. At least a prompt should have appeared on the BSNL portal informing that the 152 booster would get cancelled when I recharged. No wonder why the customers do not go for BSNL. Will very soon port to another provider. Coverage is also bad with frequent signal drops and signal penetration inside the home is a bar or two in any phone. Sometimes this also completely disappears. Really a waste of hard earned money. Learnt BSNL high handedness the hard way. Never go for BSNL with their poor coverage. Mainly bought the SIM for 3G browsing when away from home due to cheap 3G rates. 3G works well only outside home. Once inside a building even one with just ground floor, it changes to EDGE. Was this information helpful? | |||

Rate cutter/booster does not work when roaming. This is normal. But one booster cancelling the other that too a FIVE rupee booster cancelling a hundred and fifty two rupees booster is absurd. We all know that roaming is a necessity and BSNL kindly remove roaming booster from same group and also make available a prompt which will inform the users who are recharging through BSNL portal that their previous booster will be nullified if the customers are doing recharge of new booster.
