Erroneous Charge of Rs.9999/- per month
I have opted for a newly launched Prepaid Land Line based Telephone Plan technically termed as 'PU' on 20.6.2007 and got connection on 23.6.2007 having no.[protected]. I have taken Home Plan 250 Broadband connection against this telephone on 15.10.2008. Modem was purchased outright paying Rs. 1200/- as levied and Rs. 2000/- was also paid in advance for one year as annual charges of Home Plan 250 Broadband. It was the bold from the blue when I started receiving regular monthly bill showing Rs.9999/- as 'monthly fixed charge' every month from the month of December 2008 onwards in addition to other normal charges. I visited several times to the A.O.T.R.II, Calcutta Telephones, Mr. S.Mukherjee ( Tel.no.[protected] and he revised these bills accordingly admitting their mistake but ultimately he has informed me yesterday that this mistake has been generating from the billing software which will not be possible to be rectified until I surrender both my Broadband connection and Telephone. Now if I surrender my telephone I have to bear net forfeiture of the amount I spent at the time of getting connection of Telephone Line as well as Broadband Line in addition to the statutory charges to be levied for surrendering of Telephone and Broadband connection. I am not getting my mental support for losing money for which I have no fault at all. I am in anxiety with this permanent nature of harassment in every month . Why the mistake will not be rectified immediately by the B.S.N.L ? Why should the subscriber bear loss for which he has no fault in his part ? Why the responsibility is intended to be fixed to the person other than those who have shown incompetency and negligence in their part of duties destroying reputation of a Govt. of India Enterprise. Kindly look into the matter and stop generating ghost bills in respect of the Telephone no.[protected] as quick as practicable Was this information helpful? |
