My in-laws relocated from Delhi to Pune on 18th October 2010 and got their household stuff shifted through :

The stuff was packed & moved from my house on 16th Oct 2010 vide Consignment No. 3628 with a promise to deliver at the destination in 5 days. I had to face the following problems in dealing with the Organization & its employees:

1.The items were supposed to be taken in a separate truck with no sharing but that did not happen rather it was shared with someone else’s things and charged as per separate vehicle.
2. Delivery was promised in 5-7 days. After much follow up with no info at most times, I finally received the stuff at 4:30pm on 27th October 2010 (11 days).
3. During the process of follow up for delay in receipt, none of the Officials in the Company in New Delhi (Mr.Anil Sharma(M.No.[protected]) who is responsible for taking customer complaints of Delhi and Ghaziabad zone), Maharashtra (Ms.Kavita who is a manager for the customer care dept), were able to give me a clear picture on the location of the truck and status of its arrival. Moreover they kept passing the buck on each other, were speaking very rudely and eventually even stopped answering my calls.
4. When the stuff finally arrived, it was accompanied with somone else’s stuff in there and when we denied paying the balance amount because even after promising separate vehicle it was sent in sharing, they refused to unload the things saying that as per policies the unloading happens only when the balance payment is made .
5. While the stuff was packed at Delhi, I was told that all the boxes will be plastic laminated at the Company Office, but the state in which the stuff arrived was beyond recognition. Forget about lamination, even the cardboard packing was ripping apart. Some stuff had no packing material at all almost everything is damaged either partially or fully and they do not take any responsibility of paying for those damages.
6.Due to poor quality of packing, lot of my stuff has arrived broken or chipped. Major breakages – list is below.
1. Sofa(Left arm and back damaged : Main sofa)
2. 1 Sofa chair’s(Arm damaged)
3. TOTAL Bed damaged
4. Trunk total damaged
5. Matress damaged
6. Bed box damaged
7. Iron almirah
8. Mirror of a Painting damaged
9. Side trolley mirror damaged
10. 1 carton missing(26 recd,1 left)
11. Item no 34 missing. i.e. Curtains Rods..

8. The worst in all this is the rude behavior, not taking client calls and not responding as promised. Mr O P Sharma([protected]) who is at a higher level in the company is also rude and non-cooperative. He is also not giving proper answers and hence I am forced to write to Consumer forum as they never replied to the several mails sent through their website.
I will need your assistance in getting this resolved and get me the overcharged amount, loss due to damages and compensation for the tension, harrasement and rude behavior.

Central Cargo Packers & Movers — Delay in Delivery and No Proper Response

My household material dispatched by 26-Nov from Kolkata to Gurgaon. Till date not reached and Proper response.As per Kolkata Business Executive ( Mr. Ravi) Promised to me material reached max by 1-Dec.I do all planning as per Ravi commitment. but still today is 8-Nov material not reached Gurgaon.I stay till date in hotel.
No Proper response.
had availed (unfortunately) company’s service 2 transport my 2 bikes & household stuff from Bangalore to Pune with 1 bike to be transported 2 Mumbai. It has been most frustrating & extremely bad experience. People have been extremely rude while talking & at times just cutting off my calls.

Points to note

- DO NOT use Central Movers & Packers’ service
- DO NOT pay entire amount in advance. Keep 50% with you & pay when you are satisfied
- DO NOT allow bike/car/any goods 2 be carried unpacked. Get them packed in front of you & loaded in truck
- DO NOT keep petrol and any stuff in your vehicle
- MAKE NOTE of km reading on consignment note
- MAKE THEM unpack everything in front of you to check damages.
- INSURE everything
- TAKE in writing from them dates of delivery & get it agreed that you would cut from withheld amount for the delay.

Details-

My bike was supposed to be delivered on Saturday (29/Nov) and was delivered in extremely BAD condition after a week on Friday (5/Dec) with petrol from bike STOLEN by these people. No damages were given even after the owner, Rahul, promised me he would reimburse the amount.

My goods delivered were damaged and I had travel 30 kms myself to collect the damages amount which they promise to pay you upfront at the time of delivery.

Sunil Sharma from Bangalore office and especially Lalaji from Pune office are extremely rude, unprofessional and liars. They just give excuses every time for the delay.

Example of Lalaji being rude to my wife, when she called him up delivering Rs.600 damages -

Lalaji said he would deliver the money when he comes to that part of city once in 2 months. When my wife insisted to give it immediately, as per deal, he said in these very rude words, “600 rupaiye dene ke liye kya main 300 rupaiye kharch karke aau. 600 rupaiye kuch badi baat nahi hai, hote 2 main kal hi aapke muh pe maar deta”. Such language is absolutely unacceptable & speaking to customer and to a lady.

Ajay Sharma & Rahul never call up even after assuring you that they will call. Rahul asked me to drop a mail to him with full account and he will reimburse my damages. He has not responded back nor has shown courtesy to acknowledge my long full detailed mail.

Never was I called voluntarily by their people 2 update me. I was calling up every time. Every time I was promised they would call back & not a single time I was called or missed calls returned back. Not even owner of company is courteous or responsible person to return back any call.

Central Movers and Packers are an absolute shameless, rude, cheater, thief, unprofessional and liar organization.

The ISO certification of the company should be revoked.

Central Cargo Packers & Movers,Hyderabad — Missing Items

My Household goods was moved from Hyderabad on 10/03/2009 Consignment no. HYD/1226 to Ghaziabad on 10/03/2009 and reached at Ghaziabad on 17/03/2009 but they did not delivered the complete items even they were on list.When i approached to Local Office at Ghaziabad then Zonal office at Delhi and Hyderabad office but they are not delivering the misssing item.I am surprised how they are carrying the ISO certificate.
Can anybody suggest me how can i approach to consumer forum on this issue.
I too have booked my household articles to be shifted from Delhi to Marthandam in TN, and had been promised delivery of goods as on 01.01.2010 or 03.01.2010 but till date I have not received any proper feedback from Rahul Chauhan or Ajay Sharma. These people are not only liars, but thorough unprofessionals, cheats and never answer any call and they go hand in glove with one another to hide and cover up the lie which the other says... you just cannot trust them. I only pray that my things now reach me safely.

I HAVE SHIFTED MY HOUSEHOLE ITEMS FROM DELHI TO AURANGABAD ON 26/06/10. TILL THE DATE ,09/07/10 I HAVE NOT RECEIVED INSPITE OF THAT POPLE DOES NOT KNOW THE STATUS OF MY LUGGAGE AND KEPP ON TRYING THEIR MOBILE BUT NOBODY RECEIVES,IF RECEIVES BY MISAKE THEY SAY THAT WILL CALL U IN 2 MIN/OR HALF AN HOUR LIKE THAT SINCE 14 DAYS THEY ARE NOT GIVING PRPR RSPONSE..

HOW CHEEP AND RIDICUOUS PEOPLE ARE MANAGING THESE TRANSPORT ACTIVITIES ..

Central cargo packers & movers,delhi — not received goods till date

I shifted my luggage from delhi to aurangabad but till date i.e.09/07/10 i could not received..
justification is that driver not well ad admitted in the hospital...
how ridiculous are these poeple man...untill unless the driver will not get ok till then we cant receive our goods...

Mr.Niranjan and Mr.Sunil sharma are the cheap people and dontknow how to deal with the customer and respect our customers..all are llitetare gawaar people...

I request each indian citizen that please neverever approach Central Cargo packers and movers..
May be byrading this somebody can benefit..

Central Cargo Packers & Movers — Good not delivered on time

This is with regard to relocation ofgoods from Gurgaon to Mumbai. The packers & movers promised to deliver the goods within 4-5 days. The goods were loaded in Gurgaon on 12th July. But today being 22nd July, they are still telling it will take some more 3-4 days.

Central Cargo Packers & Movers — DEFICIENCY IN SERVICE AND NON RECEIPT OF GOODS

I would like to lodge a complaint against the party Ms. Central Cargo Packers & Movers, for their deficiency in service and financial loss incurred. I give below the following for your information and your assistance to get proper compensation.

I had decided shifted my Household goods from Delhi to Chennai in May 2010. I was approached by the Delhi Representative Mr. Farukh Khan - Business Executive, Mobile No. [protected] of M/S. Central Cargo Packers & Movers Delhi. . On accessing the Goods, He gave a quotation (No. 11125 dated 9th May 2010) for Rs. 19900/= including All Risk Insurance charges. On negotiation, their representative Mr. Farukh Khan agreed to shift the material (House Hold Goods) to Chennai at Rs. 18000/= including All Risk Insurance. I was told that the consignment would reach the destination between 7 days to 10 days from the date of Pickup .

On 26th May 2010, the House hold goods were packed at my residence and picked up after the full payment of s. 18000/= Cash. Receipt No. 5816 dated 26th May 2010. The House hold goods were packed in 46 packages including a Bike and a Bicycle of AVON Make. The Consignment Number was 4982 and the goods were loaded at New Delhi on 26th May 2010 by a team headed by Mr. Bal Krishan.

Since the Goods were not received at the stipulated time, we started calling their Delhi Office, Bangalore office and also their Chennai office regularly. At last the goods were received at Chennai after 20 days. On receipt, we found that Sealed boxes were opened partially. And also the Bicycle was not delivered. On enquiry at Chennai office we were told to contact their Bangalore office. On enquirty at their Bangalore office , I was informed that the Cycle was sent to some other place by mistake and will be delivered with in a day or two. Their representative Mr. Farukh khan who booked the consignment was not helpful and I was asked to contact your Bangalore office of Chennai office for further details of missing items. On continued follow-up with your Chennai and Bangalore office, I was assured by their Chennai Office that the cycle has reached their Chennai office and will be delivered with in a day or two. In the mean time, the Chennai Office incharge was changed and the person appointed new was not able to provide me any information on the delivery of the missing items Since no action has been taken to deliver the Cycle, I contacted their corporate Mumbai office and spoke to their Customer Care Incharge MS. Kavita. As advised by Ms. Kavita, I sent a n E Mails narrating the whole incidence and also the photographs of the missing cycle and also the photo of the package received open from which many other items were found missing. The emails were sent starting from 22/6,23/6,27/9/6, 1/7. 6/7 along with the photographs of the packages opened and also informed her about the damages to many of the goods like Sewing Machine, Computer Table, Refrigerator, Washing Machine and also to my Bike. On speaking to Ms. Kavita, she acknowledged that she has received all the mails and photos and would discuss the matter with her Senior and do the needful. I got only assurances from your Customer Care In charge and no action has been taken

It is more than a month from the date of delivery and no concrete action has been taken to either deliver the cycle or to compensate me for loss of cycle and against the goods damaged.

I have also clearly written on the acknowledgement LR that the Cycle was not delivered and many packages were opened and items missing.

Finallay I sent a Registered Letter – a copy enclosed, requesting them to compensate me within 10 days from the date of the letter. A copy was also sent to you by ordinary post.

It is more than 10 days from the date of sending the letter and I have not received any intimation from them. I request you to accept my complaint under Consumer Proction Act and request you to get me proper compensation
