[Resolved] Clear Trip — Worst follow up and false promises | |
I booked my return tickets with clear trip almost 2 months ago now (Trip ID [protected]),i had cancelled my return ticket (within an hour of booking done) and according to the costumer care executive the amount would take 7 to 8 working days to be refunded whereas the cancellation mail i received says something else below is how much i had to follow up and still nothing done: 2nd call after cancellation and the given time limit for refund getting over - I was told it was a special offer ticket (compared to the airlines website it hardly was) so the refund will be done only after 7 to 8 working days of me using the first ticket which was on 09th Oct. Bangalore - Delhi.- If it was so why wasn't i informed about it at the time of cancellation. 03rd Call - I was told it is in process with the accounts department and will be credited with in 2 to 3 working days. 04th Call after the given time limit got over - I was informed saying the airlines is yet to refund the money and i will get a call back with in 48 hours for the update. 05th Call after 3 to 4 days of the "48 hours" getting over - i was informed i will for sure receive a call back with in 24 hours for the update, i kept insisting to connect me to the senior on duty which didn't happen 06th Call after a day of these "24 hours" getting over - i was told the reason of me not getting a call back is that its Diwali whereas Diwali was this day and CB was yesterday and this time i will get a call within 48 hours of time and these 48 hours are still not over for Cleartrip. What i feel here as being part of service industry myself and this time as a costumer is: - If you can not deliver don't make promises and promise only what you can deliver. - When you know it might take a month say it don't fool around your customers giving false time limits. - I understand follow is the most important in the industry which i never expected to be so very weak with a company like Cleartrip, - We / Customers off course don't like to follow up and if this is what you expect from us then don't make false promises of you following up. - Its not about the amount of money but something is disturbing me for someone else not doing their job properly cause of which i am suffering because we don't like it when a very small issue like this is just stuck somewhere and the so called Customer Care has no solution or rather consideration to it i am sure they are not their just to talk. This was my first experience with Cleartrip and for sure the last one i just don't recommend Cleartrip to any one reading this provided you want to experience the worst services. Since it was a partial refund case, airline takes more than usual time to refund such cases, hence the delay.
We have initiated the refund procedure from our end and will take 5-7 working days for the amount to get refunded.
