[Resolved] Cleartrip — Refund issue | |||
Trip ID: [protected] & [protected] I requested tickets for my travel from Bangalore to France (round-trip) for two-people via Air-France. I was told that the ticket was blocked and I paid a sum of Rs.66086 through Amex Credit Card. Since I did not get the tickets even after waiting for 24 hours, I called up the Customer care. The customer care told me that the ticket was booked and that I will be getting the tickets within 30 mins. I later received a call from Cleartrip and I was told that the ticket could not be booked due to technical reasons and was offered a different Airline. (contradicts their previous statement that the ticket was booked). I declined that offer as I was at a huge loss. I was told that my money would be FULLY refunded within 4 to 5 working days and that I would be getting an email on the same. I did not get even a single email from Cleartrip despite calling them more than 10 times on this issue.The only proof that I have is my Amex card transaction statement. No other proof that substantiates full refund for a ticket that was never booked. I thought Cleartrip to be a highly professional company. But, the customer care seems to highly incompetent unprofessional. Very bad experience with cleartrip. I certainly do not recommend Cleartrip to anyone. Was this information helpful? | |||
