[Resolved] Compare Infobase — Non receipt of PF claim-reissue of cheques | |
1.1.2009 To The Commissioner Employees’ Provident Fund Organization, India Delhi (North) Sub: Re-issue of Cheques Sir, This is in reference to my P.F claim (Soumya Bose – DL[protected], which has been duly processed and sent to my bank (I.C.I.C.I Bank – Saltlake Branch, Kolkata) in two cheques (576296 and 668933/ S.B.I. NEW DELHI MAIN BRANCH, RS. 3422 AND 1718 respectively) dated 26/11/08. However, the A/C no. mentioned in the cheques is incorrect. This has created a miscommunication as a result of which I am not able to withdraw my claim amount. I have directed my bank to return the two disputed cheques to your office so that it can be reissued with the correct A/C number. My correct A/C no. is[protected], whereas it is incorrectly mentioned as [protected] in the cheques. I have sent copies of the disputed cheques along with this application. I have sent a copy of a cancelled cheques of the said account as a proof of the correct A/C no. I am also attaching a copy of my Driving License as a proof of my identity. In my request letter to the bank, I have attached the originals of the above mentioned documents (the two cheques and the cancelled cheque). I have also placed my request through prescribed form, duly signed by the bank manager. Please consider my request with urgency as I have been long awaiting the amount. This is the fifth reminder from me since December 2008. Hope to hear from you soon.
